If there were zero or no stars, I would rate this place ZERO.
Before my arrival, the hotel contacted me to confirm my arrival around 4:30 pm.
When I got to the hotel and entered the room, the toilet was full of fecal matter ( to say it nicely).
The receptionist (the person who called me before) saw the toilet, flushed it, and she graciously said, "Don't worry, everything else is cleaned, it was just the maid who cleaned the bedroom and used the bathroom and forgot to flush it".
She then started pointing out all the dirty spots in the bedroom and started cleaning them (including making sure I understood that the spots on the comforter were a result of something greasy and not "something else"....).
Come to find out SHE WAS ALSO THE MAID!!
The sight of the waste left in the toilet and the smell inside the very small, ugly, and windowless bedroom made me gag for a couple of minutes. I lost interest and requested a refund immediately, and I had to spend an additional $600 to find another hotel. I hope Expedia helps me get some of my money back for doing them a favor and reporting this.
