Dear Maggie, I'm very sorry as you didn't stay with us, but I'm more disappointed to read something isn't true.The photos are of our place, as the web site where you booked, verified also, so I think you did a mystake and book us instead the place you were looking.Our place is an old rectory house in a small hamlet with a church datin 1200 and few other houses and I never wrote it's an indipendent villa.You arrived at 10:30 while it's time for breakfast (we are so unwelcoming that we also give late breakfast to our guests).There were people having breakfast so this is the situation you found at your arrive. If you had respected the check in time you would have found everything in order.I welcomed you and explained that the rooms would have been ready at 14:00 (check in time) and you told me that you will be back later..... but you never went out!!! You stopped in the parking. If you called me and i didn't answer, i ask sorry but i really didn't hear you, anyway if it was so importan what you had to tell me, you should insist a little bit more.You asked me to use toilet and as the room weren't ready I let you used a private toilet (i don't think it means to be unwelcoming).As I finished with the other guests and their breakfast I run to prepare you rooms to give you as soon as possible. I also gave you towels for the pool ( remember the unwelcoming) for your kids.As the room were ready, an old man asked to "inspect" them and said they weren't ok as you are a family and you should stay all together.I showed your reservation and noticed that nobody asked to have rooms closer one with the other.You didn't realize before that the garden and common area were for all the guests (as it's in the typical tuscany style) and not only for you.You didn't book the all property only for you. You should book a private villa only for you.
