The Space:
Loire River Tranquility by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful commune of Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin, just 10 minutes from Orléans, also known as the city of Joan of Arc. Enjoy delicious dining at Restaurant des Plantes on 44 Rue Tudelle in Orleans. Catch the latest films at Pathé Orléans or explore creativity at La Paillote, an art hub. And if history fascinates you, don't miss Maison de Jeanne d'Arc.
This tiny house is perfectly nestled along our West Loire River property line, facing East. Where you can admire the breathtaking sight of the first rays of sunlight reflecting a stunning golden color on the river while you sip on your first cup of coffee in the morning, welcoming a new day.
Located within the Saint-Mesmin Nature Reserve and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this cozy spot offers guests natural beauty and cultural significance. The riverbank directly in front of the house is considered a prime fishing spot, attracting those who enjoy spending time by the water with a rod in hand.
Enjoy the tranquility of our magnificent tiny house while listening to the sweet soundscapes of nature—birds chirping, calm breezes, and the slow laid-back atmosphere that surrounds it.
We are just 20 steps from your front door to the Loire River Single Track Trail and other outdoor activities such as fishing, river swimming, biking, and more.
A cozy 159-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers). There are two tiny houses on the property.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas. What's more, we have plenty of fruit and nut trees in our yard, on our neighbors' fence lines (which need prior permission), and along the Loire Trail during harvest season.
If you're interested in taking some of our local goods home, feel free to gather them and we hope you have an amazing experience with us.
About the hot tub:
- The hot tub is shared between both tiny houses.
- The hot tub is available for use, but it cannot be operated when temperatures drop to freezing.
- The hot tub is available for guest use and requires a minimum stay of two nights.
- Guests are responsible for starting and maintaining the fire, as well as supplying firewood for the hot tub.
- Firewood for the hot tub can be purchased on-site or at the supermarket, collected from the nearby forested area, or guests may bring their own.
- The initial heating of the hot tub takes over 4 hours to reach a comfortable temperature of 33°C or higher. The host can assist with starting the fire, provided it is before 6:00 PM.

Loire River Tranquility by Tiny Away sits in the peaceful commune of Saint-Pryvé-Saint-Mesmin, just 10 minutes from Orléans. You can grab fresh produce, fruits, eggs, and other goodies daily at the Open Farmers' Market, just 200 meters away.
Set within the Saint-Mesmin Nature Reserve and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Loire Valley. Step outside and you are greeted by one of the region’s most prized fishing spots, where anglers cast their lines against the backdrop of the Loire’s waters.
Hikers, cyclists, runners, bird watchers, and anglers will love the scenic trail along the Loire River, which stretches for more than 800 km toward the Atlantic Ocean in one direction and the mountains in the other.

- Parc Floral de la Source features the Loiret's source, an iris garden, a rose garden, a dahlia garden, an Asian garden, and more. Enjoy perennials, pelargoniums, fuchsias, an animal park, exotic birds, and butterfly houses.

- From Versailles, it takes 1 hr, 29 mins by car
By public transport:
- The bus stop is 1km from our property or you can get around easily by bike, scooter, or we can take you into Orleans for €20

- Pets are not allowed
- Coffee maker is available

- There are two fire pits available
- Complimentary self-pick firewood around the property
- There are two tiny houses on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Outdoor Equipment is available to rent from companies in the Orleans city center. Your host can discuss the potential rental companies and best areas to enjoy the specific equipment you have or will rent.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Fresh produce, eggs, and other goods are available at the "OPEN MARKET," for more information, contact the host.
- No smoking allowed, except in designated areas. The designated smoking area is outside the front gate of the city property. Cigarette butts must be thrown in a rubbish can.
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
