We loved our 5 day stay here and would return in a heartbeat. Anouk and Gilles, the talented and hardworking owners, have created an ambiance of beauty, serenity, and friendliness that is exceptional. We stayed in the self catering cottage “Bois” and so enjoyed the surrounding gorgeous grounds and cluster of lovely stone buildings ( all tastefully restored). One night we were offered a multi course dinner with other guests, prepared by Anouk, and it was fabulous —and an excellent value. One morning, I was treated to a lesson in fois gras preparation, a local specialty. The location is great—in a quiet hamlet yet close to amenities in Salignac and the many attractions of the heart of the Perigord. The warmth, charm and helpfulness of Anouk and Gilles added a special and memorable dimension of pleasure to the fortunate experiences of our visit. This place is a treasure!
