As the town was busy that weekend there was no affordable places for me and my daughter to stay so the only option we had was to head to train station and buy tickets to return to Newcastle. „The grounds and the hotel were absolutely stunning! We were delighted with our bedroom suite. The hotel can boast an interesting history; on the wall in the restaurant is a wooden plaque, with a gilded list of previous head girls from 1937 when the hotel was run as a school. The beautiful stained glass windows on the staircase are evidence of the previous importance of the building. The hotel is well placed for activities in Warwick, and visits to Stratford on Avon, & Royal Leamington Spa.  ...
