Located in the refined Hôtel de Turgot, on the iconic Place du Vieux-Marché — the beating heart of Rouen — this pleasant one-bedroom apartment welcomes you on the second floor, with a direct view of the square. Ideal for both business trips and tourist getaways, it enjoys a privileged location in the heart of old Rouen.

Facing south-west, the flat offers a beautiful living room with a sofa, coffee table and television, opening onto a fully equipped kitchen. You will find everything you need for a practical and comfortable stay: oven, hob, fridge-freezer, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, as well as all the equipment you need to cook just like at home.

The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and storage space. The charming bathroom has a shower and toilet.
The sofa can be used as a sofa bed. We provide bed linen on request for a fee of €12. If you would like to have bed linen available, please let us know.

The apartment does not have private parking, but you can park in the surrounding streets (according to the current rates) or in the paid covered car park at the Vieux-Marché, located just opposite.
The flat has a bicycle storage room accessible to all guests on the ground floor of the residence in a locked room.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 21:00. We kindly ask you to take care of the accommodation and to respect the premises and the neighbourhood. To this end, you will be asked to provide your bank details via a secure link in order to finalise your booking and obtain the access codes.

## Neighbourhood

The Place du Vieux-Marché in Rouen is a place steeped in history and charm. It was here that Joan of Arc was burned at the stake in 1431, an event that marked the history of France. Today, the square is surrounded by historic buildings, including the Church of Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc, which stands out for its modern architecture and impressive stained glass windows.

The square is often bustling with cafés and restaurants that invite you to relax. Markets and cultural events are held here regularly, attracting both locals and tourists. With its cobblestones, picturesque atmosphere and historical memories, the Place du Vieux-Marché is a must-see for anyone visiting Rouen.

## Transit

You are a 10-minute walk from the banks of the Seine and 10 minutes from Rouen Train Station.
For parking, paid parking spaces are available in the Vieux Marché underground car park for added security.

## Notes

Please note that the building does not have a lift and the flat is located on the 2nd floor on the Place du Vieux Marché. Therefore, people with reduced mobility may encounter difficulties accessing the property.

Check-in is in person and is handled by Maître des Clefs. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. and check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.

The accommodation is managed by the ArchiDuchesse concierge service, available 7 days a week (from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.). All our guests receive household linen, essential items for the first day (shampoo, shower gel, hand gel, toilet paper, etc.) and one large towel per person, along with tea towels and a bath mat per bathroom. A welcome kit with kitchen bin bags, bathroom bin bags, a sponge and washing-up liquid is provided free of charge on arrival for the duration of your stay.

We are committed to providing a pleasant experience, however, please note that we are not a hotel service. Mid-stay cleaning, linen/towel refreshment, replenishment of essential items, or delivery can be arranged on request at an additional cost. When you confirm your stay, you will receive the ArchiDuchesse tourist booklet, our tips with promotional codes from our selected partners, and the arrival instructions for your accommodation.

La cour de l'Archiduchesse offers a range of services to make your stay as pleasant as possible: baby equipment hire, luggage storage, shuttle service, babysitting, gourmet boxes, tourist visit requests, event planning (marriage proposals, birthdays, themed rooms, etc.) and much more! When renting accommodation, it is important to follow a few rules to ensure that everything goes smoothly and to avoid any surprises with the deposit! Please treat the accommodation as if it were your own: avoid damage, respect the furniture and leave the premises clean when you leave. Follow the instructions regarding schedules and use of equipment, and respect the peace and quiet of the neighbourhood. And if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know. Please note that parties are strictly prohibited (€250 will be deducted from the deposit), the accommodation is entirely non-smoking (€50 will be deducted from the deposit), pets are not allowed (€50 will be deducted from the deposit) unless requested and agreed in advance by us, and any loss, theft or damage will be charged at the actual replacement value.
