"This was just great, in every regard. Bute is such a lovely island with a very specific charm (in architecture, landscape, history ...), and the people we met were overwhelmingly friendly and so pleasingly laid-back. The flat was great, too. It's on the first floor (ground floor is a different flat, which we didn't know - but it doesn't matter, because it's still spacious), and it's perfectly located, as well as tastefully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the comforts one needs and none one doesn't. Plus: it has a great view over the Firth of Clyde! On top of that, Campbell is as close to the perfect host as one gets. Friendly in communication, thoughtfully providing great information on the Isle of Bute (as well as on the practical workings of the appliances in the flat) and always quick to answer and help with whatever might have come up. Highly recommend this to anyone!"
