Watvögel und Seeschwalben "auf der Sandbank gegenüber", Singvögel rund um das Cottage und auch auf den Teichen auf der Farm einiges zu entdecken - da lacht das Ornithologen-Herz. Die Gastgeber sind jederzeit ansprechbar und können (auch über das lokale Vogelleben) einiges erzählen. Das Cottage selbst ist zwar ein altes Gebäude, aber uns hat es darin an nichts gemangelt. Wir hoffen, dass wir unseren Besuch irgendwann noch einmal ...

„Super clean and stocked with everything you might ever need in self contained accommodation. Just like being at home and the supplied towels and linen are an extra luxury.“

„Having the lock box at ground level was a pain given the hall lights were not working. Be good if it was at eye level. The property was neat and tidy. Had all we required. Would've liked internet though! Nice being upstairs for breakfast on the balcony. Great having a 4 Square right below us.“

„On day of check in we received an email asking what time we would arrive and received no reply as to the address to find the exact location for the accommodation. By deduction and luck we drove around and around until by chance we found it. Host was very good in supplying iron and ironing board on request. Had to buy laundry detergent and no dryer.“

„Our family group of 4 adults were all disappointed with how grubby this property was. We don’t mind things which are a bit shabby (carpet, paintwork, furniture, curtains) but we really like things to be clean! Don’t even expect hospital standards but not ….dead bugs, spiders, dust, cobwebs…. Hair and mould in showers, basins, bathroom mirrors splashed with someone else’s toothpaste….YUK. Kitchen equipment greasy and grimy. Also the downstairs bedroom was very damp and unaired and we had to move ...

„Accommodation was great. Nice and quiet surroundings. Kayaks were included in the price. Well equipped. Only towels and linen you needed to bring. It depends on the people who used it before if there is soap and rubbish bags, etc. available or not. Fruit trees to use :) Fast and good comminication with the host.“
