Stunning brand new modern home on the Iron Shore of West Bay. Private Pickleball Court! This listing is for the main house only, 2 bedrooms. We are a comfortable 10-15 minute walk to West Bay beach. Diving, dining, entertainment. We have views all the way to the mainland from 2 full decks. Private ocean front pool and your own private Pickleball Court. Can be rented as 3 bedroom which includes the main house plus the downstairs apartment. Ask us about renting the apartment only out of season.


Casa Tranquilidad is managed by Island House Vacation Rentals. Guests will be provided with our local phone numbers and we will be available via phone, text, as well as messaging. Our office, located on the main road in West Bay, just a few minutes from the house is open Monday - Friday 8-4 and Saturdays 8-12. We greet all of our guests at the office so they know how to find us. Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and agree to our rental terms and conditions. Secure online payments for direct bookings are processed through a 3rd party payment processor, ChargeAutomation.
Entry is by a electronic lock with a one time door code.
Island House Vacation Rentals, our local property management company are available for all of your needs while you are on the island. We can arrange airport transfers with grocery shopping on your way from the airport. Bi-Weekly cleaning is included for stays longer than 2 weeks. All amenities are provided so you don't have to worry about them. Paper Towels, Dish Soap, Garbage Bags, Bath Soap, Laundry Detergent, Herbs and Spices, etc. If it is in the house please feel free to eat it, drink it or use it.

The Turtle Crossing neighbourhood is community based. A mix of vacation rentals and permanent residents. There is also a community pool is for your use and is a lovely spot to relax at the end of the day. It is a quiet community of about 15 homes all nestled into the hillside on the South shore of West Bay. It is just 15 minutes walk to West Bay beach so you can dip into the action and then come home and relax in the peace and quiet of Casa Tranquilidad.

The whole house is yours to enjoy. We do have a very private one bed one bath apartment below the house that can be added to your stay for an additional fee.

Fabulous outdoor space with new BBQ and stunning Proimi furnishings. Walking path to view the ocean and iron shore. All rooms face the ocean for unmatched views and breezes. On a calm day you can dive and snorkel from this side of the island and it is incredible. There are steps taking you to the ocean 2 doors down the street. Did we mention your PRIVATE PICKLEBALL COURT.

4 air conditioner splits. Huge covered deck off the upstairs bedrooms. There is also community pool. We can organize a driver for airport transfers with grocery shopping. Electricity INCLUDED!

There are no window coverings on the sliding doors.

We are happy to arrange your airport transfer to West Bay if you wish. While it is possible to walk from Casa Tranquilidad to West Bay Beach, we recommend a rental car if you want to explore. Alternatively West Bay Beach is a 15 minute walk, there you can jump in a water taxi to West End or a regular taxi to get around. We can help with arranging rental cars or connecting you with a trusted taxi service that is on-call with special rates for our guests.

Housekeeping service is included once a week on rentals of 7 nights or more.
Prices are based on 4 person occupancy.
Additional guests can be added for an extra charge up to 6 maximum.

Unlimited purified drinking water. We also have a Reverse Osmosis Water Filter system. Just fill it with tap water and dispense and drink.
Fill the Ice Maker and make your own ice or buy a bag at the store.
PLEASE NOTE: All Guests travelling to Honduras will need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months past the date of travel. UK citizens need to apply for a travel Visa to enter Honduras. Please ask for details.
Our minimum stay is 4 nights as we are looking for guests who will appreciate and take care of our home, so that we can provide a nice space for our guests to enjoy.
