Angenehmes Stadthotel
Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem sind die Zimmer auch nachts sehr ruhug. Bushaltestelle und Ausflugsschiffe zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer für Frühstück und andere Mahlzeiten. Altstadt mit Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt nebenan.

Die Preisleistung war gut: Der Service nett und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer bescheiden aber zum schlafen ok, die Lange des Hotels war perfekt für Ausflüge auf andere Inseln und es gibt eine Auswahl von Restaurants in laufreichweite.

zentrale Lage, blitzsauber und familiäres Flair
Ein blitzsauberes, bestens gepflegtes Hotel in Stadtnähe mit sehr nettem Personal und einer Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Preiswerte Zimmer können etwas klein und dunkel sein, dennoch tadellos in Schuss. Die Lage direkt an der Hauptstrasse ist je nach Tageszeit etwas laut. Jederzeit wieder.

Sea VIEW, dafür aber ein Pool...
5 Nächte übernachtet. Es ist ein moderates Hotel mit. tägl. Housekeeping. Man kann von der Fähre zum Hotel laufen. Wer Luxus, ein Hotelrestaurant und viel Service (z.B. Zimmerservice) benötigt ist falsch. Es ist einfach, aber sauber. Am Empfang muss man immer jmd. rufen, wird auch so kommuniziert. Die Zimmer in der Stanni Kategorie haben sowas wie eine Küche, aber kein Herd bzw. Geschirr. Unser Kumpel mit besserer Kategorie und Balkon hatte Geschirr und Mikrowelle. In der "Küche" ist ein Kühlschrank unter einer Arbeitsplatte mit Waschbecken und eine kl. Kaffeemaschiene inkl. Café. Auf Nachfrage bekamen wir ein Wasserkocher.

Die zimmer sind sehr klein aber sauber. Es ist ein gutes hotel wenn jemand ubernachten muss oder auf geschaeftsreise ist. Ist sehr nah zu der faehre. Die zimmer sind sehr nah zu der strsse und es gibt schon ein verkehr da; man soll darauf vorbereitet sein. Die mitabeiter snd sehr nett und hilfsbereit genau wie die katzen von dem hotel. :) Parkplatz gibt's allerdings nur fur ca. 2 autos, sonst muss man auf der strasse parke. Es gibt kostenloses intenet auch. Sonst hat das hotel ein kleines sauberes pool ebenfalls. Alls in allem ist es ein preiswertes hotel, wenn jemand auf der sprung ist und sich da nicht erholen mochte.

The outstanding thing about this property is its restaurant. The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. It is a hidden gem known only to the locals. A steady stream of them come through all day long to pick up take away.

We were very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. The room was nice and cold and up to date. The lamp worked but was broken somewhat but I made it work. We were free to be us. It was nice.

Nice views.
A good location near the pier, nice views of the harbor from the upper floor apartments, and a comfortable bed. We wish there had been utensils, plates and bowls to go with the refrigerator and microwave. In addition, be ready for lots of stairs.

we stayed one night after returning from a 10 day sail. The restaurant was the best part of the Seaview hotel. The food was excellent and the service in the restaurant was good. The hotel and room are old. Our room is on the second floor with no offer to help carry our very heavy bags up two flights of stairs. Our room also faced the water, which was obstructed by trees and was not a sea view! Our room faced the road with constant noise all night long. We had a deluxe room with two twin beds, and a balcony. The beds were hard and the pillows were flat. The balcony was lovely, but the noise was not!

1 star level at best. Close to TMM base but roads are terrible to walk on especially with luggage. Room was very basic and patio furniture for balcony was in room. Booked and paid for a king bed and was told they would only have two twin beds when we checked in. Horriby overpriced for what you get compared to same price for Wyndham.

Thank you for your review as it shows us areas in which we can make our guest experiences better. For future stays with booking made ahead of time we will make sure that the patio chairs are placed on the patio. Unforeseen circumstances prevented us from putting you in a room with a King bed. I checked with the Manager on duty for your arrival and she communicated with you of the change and apologized. You could have then proceeded to check the availability at the local Wyndham but proceeded with your booking with us. Also our hotel and the Wyndham are two different hotel ratings. With taxes and fees, they are still more expensive and if you had to take a taxi to town or rent a car the expense of staying with the Wyndham rises even more. The issue of the road you will have to take that up with the BVI Government as the hotel has no control over the roads and terrible walks. We could have however, helped out by calling a taxi so that you would not have to endure a terrible walk.We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay with us. The room there was not worth $230 for one night. I booked a room with a King size bed and we got 2 twin beds pushed together and the refrigerator was not working. Eating at the restaurant was the only good experience

This is a hotel that needs investment. The people were lovely, but the hotel was vey basic. The wifi didn’t work and there’s nothing around. That said as a 1 night place to say it was ok. Beyond that, avoid.

Staff is friendly. Room is so-so. I think they are trying to keep it clean. Much like a Motel 6. When these reviews say the TV doesn’t work, it’s because although there are TV’s, there is no TV service AT ALL (so why have TVs?). Internet is minimal. Don’t count on it. Probably would not stay here again.

Hotel was basic but clean and in a great position, 6 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, ferry terminal and not far from cruise quay. Pool was cute and inhouse restaurant was very good and very reasonable prices.

The housekeeping staff was a little behind schedule so there was a delay with the 3 p.m. check in time. However, I was pleased with the receptionist professionalism and ability to quickly correct the situation.

Very spartan rooms. Ceiling fan blades were so warped from humidity that they drooped 8” and fan would not even spin. Room was located next to pool pump room with loud pump filter noises every 30 minutes. Staff was friendly but curt. Very obvious that there is a hotel supply issue and demand is high. No desire to maintain property amenities or extend anything beyond basic courtesy to patrons. $171 USD for a 1 night stay at this hotel was a very underwhelming experience.

Well...you get what you pay for
The room walls are very thin. You will hear every conversation your neighbor is a having. The bathrooms were so small. My knees touched the wall when sitting in the toilet. Didn’t sleep much, but it’s close to the ferry

Our rooms are not dirty and each room has two windows that open and close. There is one window in the room and the other in the bathroom. Upon going to the room and seeing that it was supposedly "dirty" you did come to Management to voice your displeasure with the cleanliness of the room. This implies that the room must not have been "dirty" as you stated as I do not know anyone who would stay in a dirty room. If the room was in fact "dirty" and you said something to management we could have easily corrected the problem. We like for our guest to be happy and comfortable and you did not give us an opportunity to fix your problem.

I was staying at the Sea View Hotel for one night. I'll start with the negatives: the hotel is old and worn as was the room. The room had nowhere to sit, had a bedside lamp but no obvious place to plug it in. I eventually found a socket that it would reach in the closet. Coincidentally, that is also where I found the TV! The cable connection for the tv didn't work but I could at least use it as a monitor. The worst thing for me was the lack of a proper curtain. The room had a large window covered with a net curtain so I was woken early by the sun streaming in the window. On the positive side the staff were extremely friendly and there is a small, outdoor restaurant and bar which was inexpensive but with good, local food and great service. Location wise, it is a 5 minute stroll to the centre of Road Town. All in all, I do find hotel accommodation actually in Road Town quite sparse so choices are limited so if you need something close to the centre and don't mind a basic hotel then you could do worse than stay at the Sea View.

Nice hotel
Did a one night stay on way to pick up a charter yacht that I was there to captain. Was a nice place with a good staff and had a good supper and breakfast. Room was cold and the shower hot what else can you ask for in a room. Will stay there the next time I go down to captain..
