„This property was perfectly located for sightseeing in the region. We did Nottingham, York, and a bunch of beautiful things in between. The proximity to Chatsworth, Bakewell, Haddon Hall and other more local sights meant it was one of our few trips where we were able to have very short drives to very majestic places many days. „The cottage is small, but perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is a great starting point for various trips to the surrounding area. We had a great time and would recommend it to everyone! Just one thing: the last few yards to the cottage are on a rather steep hill (hence "Hillside") and it can be a bit tricky to park your car there. You'll need to ascend the last few yards up to the cottage, but if you're reasonably fit, it shouldn't be a problem.“

„Lovely cottage situated around idyllic green fields, sheep etc. Comfortable, has all the essentials you could need, and close to lots of peak district walks and attractions such as matlock, bakewell etc. Our Family had a great time. Really nice and helpful owner. Overall great stay. Thank you!“

„Our adult family of 5 had a lovely stay in Vinod and Krishna's beautiful cottage. The living/ dining room was perfect for spending time together, and the views were stunning. The beds were comfy and the cottage was clean and well thought-out. Vinod was a considerate host and easy to contact when needed. The location is handy for lots of lovely walks and Chatsworth House is a short drive away. We would happily stay here again!“
