Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und der Bus vom Flughafen bleibt direkt in der Nähe vom Hotel stehen. Frühstück war gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Spa ist etwas überteuert und man bekommt keinen Bademantel, nur 1 Handtuch pro Person. Sauna ist nicht mal richtig heiß und der Pool war kalt. Im Zimmer brannte das Licht im Kasten durchgehend und ließ sich nicht abdrehen, was in der Nacht echt störend war. Teilweise funktionierten auch nicht alle Steckdosen im Zimmer, so mussten wir den Wasserkocher neben das Bett stellen, weil die Steckdosen am Tisch nicht funktioniert haben. Ohne die Mängel im Zimmer wärs sicher besser gewesen, aber bei 4 Sterne kann man schon auch einen gewissen Standard erwarten.

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel mit Anbindung an Flughafen, Bahnhof und Innenstadt. Großes Zimmer mit allem was man erwartet und ein sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet, das keinen Wunsch offen lässt. Negativ war, dass sich ein Fenster nicht richtig schließen ließ.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr schön. Die Zimmer sind wirklich groß und haben alles zu bieten was man braucht. Das Frühstück phänomenal, noch nie so ein großes Buffet gesehen. Lage top, man ist schnell in der Stadt. Parken kann man auf einem privat betriebenen Parkplatz in der nähe, mit Verweis auf das Hotel kostet es 15 EUR die Nacht, von 14 auf 14 Uhr. Der Pool etc. kostet min. 20 EUR, das finde ich nicht so toll. Hätte man für die Hotelgäste auch kostenlos gestalten können.

Das flussseitig gelegene Zimmer entsprach fast allen Anforderungen. Der vor dem Hotel vorbeiführende Verkehr bewirkt aber, dass das Fenster geschlossen bleiben muss, um Ruhe zu haben. Dann wird es aber recht schnell unangenehm trotz Klimaanlage (Anfang August). Ein wesentlicher Kritikpunkt ist auch der Mini(getränke)kühlschrank. Jedes Getränk behält immer die gleiche Temperatur, wie es hineingegeben wurde. Im Klartext heißt das, man kann im Zimmer KEIN kühles Getränk zu sich nehmen.

The hotel is located in the very heart of the city next to the river. It is an ideal basis for exploring Riga both by foot and public transport. Das Hotel hat eine wirklich schöne Lage. Perfekt für einen Kurztrip. Gute Anbindung an Zug, Bus. Kurze Wege in die Innenstadt. Frühstück ist für den deutschen Geschmack etwas ungewohnt (keine Marmelade oder Schokocreme) aber man findet immer etwas. Einmal wurde das Zimmer erst nachmittags (zwischen 16 und 20 Uhr gereinigt ) was etwas komisch war. Insgesamt zufrieden. Wir würden wieder kommen :)

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Man ist sehr nah am Busbahnhof und am Zentralmarkt. Auch in der Altstadt und im Zentrum ist man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und ruhig. Der Spa Bereich ist auch eine gute Idee. Allerdings war das Frühstücksangebot und die Qualität nicht so berauschend, da geht noch mehr. Die Sauna und das Schwimmbad sind während des Aufenthalts terminlich zu buchen. Dadurch sind zwar nicht so viele Gäste da, allerdings wird trotzdem oft in der Sauna gequetscht und Kinder schreien rum. So ist es vielleicht nicht wirklich erholend.

Schönes Hotel mit schlechtem Service
Gefallen: Ein schönes, gediegenes Hotel mit hochwertiger, sauberer Ausstattung, einer tollen Lage direkt an der Altstadt und einem ansprechenden Frühstücksangebot mit Crepes, nur macht die Station schon 30min vor Frühstücksende dicht. Kostenfreies langsames Internet. Aufwendiger kostenpflichtiger Spa-Bereich mit Saunen, Whirlpool und Schwimmbecken. Nicht gefallen: Das Hotel bietet mir 3 Tage vor Ankunft für 20€/Nacht ein Upgrade auf das von mir bereits gebuchte Zimmer an???. Außenparkplatz um die Ecke für 15 €/Nacht statt 5 €, wie bei Buchung angegeben. Unser „Riverview-Deluxe“-Zimmer wird bei hotels.com mit einem tollen Foto beworben - schöner Blick auf den Fluss. Leider stammt das Foto vom Dachgarten und hat mit den Zimmern nichts zu tun. Von unserem Zimmer im 2. Stock hatten wir einen schönen Blick auf die 6-spurige Autostraße. Unser Zimmertelefon war defekt und es bedurfte „nur“ zweimaliger persönlicher Reklamation bei der Rezeption, schon wurde es in Ordnung gebracht. Leider wurde uns von der Rezeption zunächst der mitgebuchte und bezahlte Besuch des Wellnessbereiches verweigert, auch die Vorlage der entsprechenden Buchungsbestätigung änderte daran nichts und es bedurfte erst eines Gespräches mit der lokalen Geschäftsführung, um wenigstens für den zweiten Aufenthaltstag den Zutritt zu erreichen. Dabei wurden auch alle anderen Reklamationspunkte vorgetragen. Auf eine Entschuldigung oder eine wie auch immer geartete Wiedergutmachung warteten wir allerdings vergebens.
