Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand entfernt ist Hen Gi Mor ("Old Sea Dog") der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für eine große Familie oder für diejenigen, die mehr Platz wünschen. Mit drei komfortablen Empfangsräumen, die modern und gemütlich eingerichtet sind, können Sie sich nach einem langen Tag am Strand ausruhen und entspannen. Die voll ausgestattete Küche und der Essbereich bieten ausreichend Platz für alle, um sich zu treffen, oder wenn das Wetter es zulässt, können Sie auf der hinteren Terrasse im Freien essen.

Geschlossene Gärten vorne und hinten bedeuten, dass sich die Eltern entspannen können, da Kinder und Haustiere sicher draußen spielen können. Eine gesicherte Garage ist ideal für diejenigen, die Fahrräder oder Surfbretter mitbringen möchten. Diese Eigenschaft bietet außerdem die Möglichkeit, Parkplätze für bis zu 3 Autos abseits der Straße zu parken (Zufahrt neben der Unterkunft).

Die vier Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock bieten eine ideale Mischung aus einem König, einem Doppelbett, zwei Einzelbetten und einem Etagenbett für insgesamt 8 Personen. Drei Badezimmer sorgen dafür, dass niemand überrascht wird!

Der Strand von Rhosneigr liegt 75 Meter den sanften Hügel hinunter und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bucht und natürlich die legendären Sonnenuntergänge! Dieses Anwesen befindet sich gleich um die Ecke vom Glockenturm und daher nur wenige Minuten von den Geschäften, Restaurants und anderen Annehmlichkeiten, die Rhosneigr zu bieten hat.

Fantastic

This is a great property and a great location! The garden is decent, much better since they go rid of the old summer house. This has made room for a great place to sit in the evening sunshine. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at Hen Go Mor

Multi generation family stay over a long weekend, the house was really comfortable and warm and well laid out for a large family. Facilities were great and the location was ideal for exploring. The shop just around the corner was very useful. We have stayed at numerous properties around the island and this one was one of our favourites. We all agreed that we would love to return.

Perfect position

A lovely house proximity to the beach perfect, we enjoyed our stay as the house was very comfortable, Some upgrades to the kitchen would be an improvement as it was rather basic with utensils also the garden area was very tired and for a family with young children or an elder quest quite a few steps to contend with, Overall a lovely holiday home and we would certainly look at booking again in the future.

Perfect short stay , like a home from home only with sea views

Location couldn’t be more perfect. Beach virtually on doorstep. House had everything you’d need from air fryer , to books, to comfy settees. Lots of information about the area was provided. Everywhere was spotless , crisp clean bedding. The garden was enclosed so you knew dogs were safely mooching waiting for next trip to beach. Perfect

Excellent short weekend break

We booked this last minute for a weekend break. Location of the house is perfect, near all the shops, restaurants and beach. We found the house a great size and the layout is great also - the property was clean and beds comfy - we got lucky with the weather and was able to make use of the outdoor space. We just wished we had stayed longer and will definitely book again.

Family Birthday Celebration

As a family of 8 this house provided plenty of space for everybody to be together. Perfect location for the beach walks, pub and local restaurant Sandmount House which we booked one night and was excellent. We loved the log stove which we lit every night and made it very cosy. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was a good area to cook and sit everybody around the table. Plenty of fridge space as everybody had brought so much food and drink!

A great holiday in a great location

The property was perfect for our family. Rhosneigr Holiday Lettings were very helpful in dealing with some initial hiccups and would certainly use them again in the future. It was reassuring to know help was available promptly if required. The staff we dealt with were kind and helpful.

Great house and location

This was our third stay at Hen gi Mor and we have booked again for next year. We contacted Anglesey Holiday Lettings who put a new bulb in the outside light. He also checked the temperature setting on the downstairs shower for us. He couldn't have been more helpful. Can't wait to come again! the house is comfortable, roomy and welcoming.

A lovely family holiday

We have just returned from a week long family holiday at Hen Gi Mor and wanted to let you know we had a lovely time. The house was great for our party of three generations..... spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for all our meal preparation with plenty of space for our party of seven. We have been to Rhosneigr on many occasions so we knew the location was ideal as we spent time on both beaches. The whole family voted it the best house we have stayed in. We hope to return again in the future.

A seaside stay

The house provided space for all in a brilliant setting. The local amenities were great for dining out. The beach was literally steps away and the sunsets were great. The house itself had space for adults and children to enjoy their stay and for two families the layout and multiple bathrooms was ideal. The driveway was narrow but this didn’t bother us. The cooking equipment was limiting when cooking for a large group but the kitchen area and attached dining made it a communal space for us all.

Great location

Great location heart of the village and a few strides away from the beach perfect for the dogs. Lots of space and bathrooms with plenty of appliances such as airfryer, microwave etc However the TVs were basic and it lacked a little tlc. The house is very tired and needs a revamp on both inside and outside. Parking was no issues private and kerb side. The gardens were not secure for big dogs. Wrap around garden with low front walls. Dated garden furniture. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t go back to this property

A fabulous stay just minutes from the beach!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hen Gi Mor. The location is exceptional and the house is well-equipped and well-laid out for a stay with two small families, sharing. The kitchen and living space is particularly pleasant and we spent a lot of time there, chatting, eating and playing games. There is also a lot of storage space at the property, as you have access to the garage. This is useful if you have paddle-boards, wet suits and beach equipment to store. We found Anglesey Holiday Lettings to be very responsive, when we needed to contact them and couldn't fault their customer service. We have visited Rhosneigr several times and wouldn't hesitate to return, and would happily stay in this property in the future. Thank you

Lovely house in the heart of Rhosneigr

Great house and very central. Very comfortable living spaces and kitchen is stocked well. That said, welcome pack for the house was very meagre. 1 toilet roll per bathroom and no welcome bottle of something? Considering paying £1800+ for a weeks holiday. Seemed quite mean. Also damp in the front bedrooms - so black mould on window seat and subsequently set off my husbands asthma. There was also quite a lot of broken doors and gates left in the garden as well. Which didn’t make for the most amazing welcome - these weren’t taken during our stay. Location was terrific - stones throw from the beach but I think some smaller attentions to detail on customer service front needed to warrant these price points in Anglesey.

Superb Location

We've previously stayed in several properties in Rhosneigr, so have some basis for comparison. Hen Gi Mor probably wins in terms of location. Really short distance to local shop, Scarletts' chippy and Aydin's excellent pizzas. Also a very short walk (2 minutes) to the beautiful and expansive Traeth Crigyll beach, where our two dogs could run and splash. A good view of the lovely sunsets from the front of the property too. The property itself is, I guess, adequate. Inside, the downstairs is spacious, though upstairs the bedrooms are rather small with limited storage. Throughout though, it felt a bit tatty, with various things missing, loose or not quite working. Outside, because the road is on a slope, there are a large number of steps around the property, many of uneven size, so you do need to walk carefully. Garden furniture is restricted to one round wooden table with integral seating for eight. The very narrow drive did allow us to park three cars, though. The property is reasonably dog secure once the large gate to the drive is shut, provided your dog is not large enough to jump over the low front wall. Our two medium-sized cockapoos were fine. Outside, again, everything looked as though it could do with a bit of TLC. I'm trying to be honest rather than negative. I should emphasise that nothing stopped us having a really enjoyable week. My option below though, that I would recommend this property to others, is still somewhat conditional on a handyman going through the property to find and fix a few faults!

Great views

Very noisy location with aircraft’s and passing people, however perfect for the beach and local shops. A lovely big house with a lots of space. Always felt cool even though it was very warm. Back doorstep is dangerous with loose tiles. The outhouse in the garden needs a tidy up, broken windows, was locked so unusable. There was a rocker in the garden but the handle was broken so worried it would cut toddlers hands. The garden really could do with a rethink to make it more family friendly / usable. No chairs to sit on the grass / parasol but there was a wooden bench. Garage door was propped shut with a watering can. Curtains upstairs didn’t fit the window properly. Television in the lounge wouldn’t show many channels for example BBC. This was reported but couldn’t be resolved. Would recommend but maybe not for toddlers …

Overall well appointed property, very close to the beach

Hen Gi Mor is a lovely property just up the road from the beach with views out of the front windows and front garden. The property is well appointed with two lounges, and two dining areas, a good sized kitchen with everything you need to cook. Some of the furnishings are getting a little tired and frayed around the edges and these would benefit from an upgrade. There is a small amount of mold in the front bedrooms, the window seat fabric needs replacing as it is particularly badly marked with black and the wall paper in the bunk bed room needs attention. The bench to the front has seen better days and does need replacing before too long. However, on the whole the property is well maintained and our stay was very comfortable. I would recommend changing the wording on the website for enclosed garden, or simply add some gates to fully enclose the back garden area from the drive and the other side of the property. I had to keep my two little dogs on a long secure lead for fear of them wandering off and getting through gaps in the main gate. We had a really lovely stay at the property, the house is very well situated just up from the beach, it is very close to the corner shop and to all of the little cafes. Another bonus is that you can watch the planes from RAF valley and there was a training operation on the week we stayed with the chinook helicopters which was fascinating to watch.
