Neues und modernes Apartment mit Balkon. Wir haben uns für die etwas teureren Räume weiter oben entschieden, und haben dies nicht bereut. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Bequeme Betten. Eingang ins Gebäude mit Code, ohne Rezeption - haben wir aber nicht vermisst. Anfragen per Mail wurden schnell und freundlich beantwortet. Parkmöglichkeiten vor dem Gebäude - kostenfrei von 18 bis 9 Uhr und Sonntags - hat für uns super geklappt, da wir tagsüber mit dem Auto unterwegs waren und unsere Stadtbesichtigung auf Sonntag gelegt haben. Kurzer Fußweg in die Innenstadt - wir haben den Weg am Wasser entlang gewählt - ein schöner Start in den Tag. Es waren tagsüber noch Bauarbeiten am Nebengebäude, die uns - obwohl wir extrem geräuschempfindlich sind - nicht gestört haben. Absolut ruhige Wohngegend, mit Supermarkt in Laufdistanz. Wir können die Apartments ohne Einschränkung empfehlen und würden auch wieder dort buchen.

Second time at Sif and a rough start arriving into our apartment with the washer sitting in the middle of the apartment. We enjoyed having a washer and dryer last time and one of the main reasons we booked other than the nice modern apartments. I called and they acknowledged their mistake and lack of communication, and ultimately ended up reaccomodating me to another apartment. Could do with a fan, but a good modern apartment in Reykjavik, short walk to food hall, and short drive to town center.

Room smelt of smoke but we think this was coming from another property through a vent. No sink plug for washing up. No wardrobe space in the second bedroom but plenty of space in the master bedroom (Walk in wardrobe!) Otherwise, everything was great! Two decent bedrooms, big comfortable living space, well equipped spacious kitchen, two good bathrooms. Great location near bus stop 12 and only a few mins walk from the seafront.

Parking garage was very convenient but be prepared for the expense of parking. This is all around Iceland so no escaping this cost. Apartment was very nice and modern. Had everything we needed for cooking and washing clothes and dishes.

Apartment was beautiful and very clean! A good base in Reykjavík especially if you are out most of the time. Only suggestion would be to make it clearer that if using the underground parking garage, you must pay each and every time you exit. From the property guide it seemed as if you pay at the end of your entire trip

The Sif apartments are really centrally located for Reykjavík points of interest. All are within walking distance, but the location is also very quiet. There are grocery stores nearby which offsets the high prices in Iceland. The apartments are clean, spacious and really well equipped. The washer dryer is especially useful as it means you can pack fewer clothes and get anything dry that falls victim to the Icelandic weather!

Great stay at Sif Aprtments
We had a fantastic stay at Sif Apartments in Reykjavik. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with our 2 teenage boys. The apartment was really clean and well laid out and kitchen well equipped. Having 2 bathrooms was really handy. The covered balcony was a really nice touch. It was within walking distance to the city centre and about a minute walk to bus stop 12 for most tour pickups. It was quiet in the neighbourhood so nice and quiet. The communication was excellent throughout and we knew exactly what we needed to do. There are grocery shops close by so we cooked most nights and made sandwiches for the day to try and shield ourselves from the prices We had a car which we parked in the underground car park. This was probably the only negative it’s quite expensive and the parking app pretty rubbish along with the pay machine. It scans your number plate on entry but when you leave you still have to put in your entry time. It was all a little weird and easy to get wrong. It is an underground car park though so protected from the elements! Overall a very positive experience and we will definitely stay again if in Reykjavík. Plus we saw the Northern Lights which was a massive bonus!

This was worth every penny! well aware that there are places that are cheaper but having space to cook and move about for the entire week we were there was worth. Both rooms and bathrooms were a good size. The washer and dryer were a great addition as we packed lighter and did small loads as needed. Basic dishes are supplied and a small frig is there with plenty of counter and cabinets space. Cant lie my husband and i wanted the walk in closet, lol. To get to old bus stop of many restaurants inside (cant recall the name) was 5-7 min was away. Bonus was 10-13 min walk away. So easy to walk and get around!

I recently had a fantastic stay at SIF apartments in Reykjavik and wanted to share my thoughts. The location is excellent, just a five-minute walk to the main Laugavegur street, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Plus, being close to the Hlemmur food hall and surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops made dining options a breeze. The only minor downside was the cost of parking in the building's underground lot, which could deter guests from leaving their cars there during the day. It would be great if SIF could negotiate a fixed rate with the parking owner for 24-hour or longer stays. As for the apartment itself, it was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The only issue we encountered was with the shower in the en suite bathroom, which wasn't entirely water-tight, leading to some water spilling onto the floor. However, we hope this is specific to the apartment we stayed in and not a common problem. Overall, our experience at SIF apartments felt like a home away from home during our five-night stay. Despite the minor parking and shower concerns, we would definitely choose to stay here again for the wonderful location and comfortable accommodations.

Parking info is important
This was a very nice place to stay! It was located near a coffee shop, restaurants, a few blocks from a bonus grocery store. It is around the corner from Iceland tour bus pick up points! Stocked with all your home cooking needs! The area was so safe and family friendly with a small playground in front. We got all the information for the hotel as needed but the day after we checked in we got the information for parking trash and check out. The parking was the most important part because nothing is marked outside the building. But the parking garage is under the building do not park on the side and think you are fine you will get a ticket! I do not discredit the place for my lack of asking but it would have been nice to know so I am passing this on to you! It was very pricey to park my ticket was so much cheaper! Be prepared to pay! I paid 155 for two and half day to park the rest of my stay! Still would come back again and again!

Our family of four loved staying at this apartment. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I appreciated the rental guide that explained where the entrance is, how the appliances work and how to manage the heat, as well as the rules for garbage and check out. We had no problem using the codes to enter the building. We never had to use the parking garage because we were always able to find street parking close to the building. Parking is free overnight and inexpensive during the day; we paid using an app. The immediate area is quiet with few shops, restaurants and bars but these are within walking distance. The grocery store was a short drive away. We would stay here again and definitely recommend these apartments!

Perfecto para una familia de cinco personas.
Excelente. Muy bien equipado, limpio y con todas las comodidades. Fácil el acceso, con aparcamiento en la zona (incluso se puede usar el parquin privado) Éramos cinco personas y estábamos muy cómodos. Los propietarios son muy amables.
