Charmantes, warmes Kleinod inmitten der Hauptstadt. Check in ist super easy mit Code, das Zimmer samt Bad sehr süß und zum Wohlfühlen. Das zunächst vermutete Platzproblem lässt sich dur verstauen der Taschen im Unterschrank beheben, lediglich die Heizung hätte für meinen (Mädchen-)Geschmack schon funktionieren können. Das Frühstück war in Gemeinschaftsküche mit den anderen Gästen um einen Tisch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber lecker. Die Küche insgesamt auch ganztägig zur Nutzung frei und gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin haben wir nur kurz gesehen, war aber sehr bemüht uns alles so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Sehr empfehlenswerte Location in Reykjavik!

Ein mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtetes Haus. Unser Zimmer befand sich im Keller und war sehr kuschelig eingerichtet. Die Hausherrinnen waren sehr freundlich und tischten uns täglich ein sehr gutes Frühstück auf. Das Haus befindet sich in ruhiger Lage jedoch sehr zentral und ist zu Fuss oder per Bus leicht erreichbar.

A Treasure in Reykjavik
A true Treasure in Reykjavik. We were made to feel very welcome by the host. The rooms are spotlessly clean the beds are very comfortable. Lots of traditional Icelandic foods at breakfast that were delicious. Great location for exploring Reykjavik.

Lovely location, hostess (owner), breakfast, originality of rooms and more. Most comfortable bed I slept in during all of Iceland! We stayed downstairs which while lovely, was a little loud with the upstairs foot steps and occasional late night street walkers. Request upstairs and you’ll love it.

Excessivement cher ! A fuire.
Jolie petite maison dans le centre ancien de Reykjavík. Rien à dire pour le petit déjeuner et le personnel qui étaient très bien mais 280€ pour dormir une nuit dans une chambre en sous sol, sombre , petite, sur un lit en 120-140…ça fait cher! On peut sûrement trouver mieux et moins cher.

Reykjavik Treasure is an understated little gem. Maybe only 4 guest rooms. Entry is by code at the front door. The 2nd floor rooms have sloped ceilings which means one has to adopt a humble attitude when near a wall, but. . . . The rooms were well equipped with comfy beds and OK bathrooms. We didn’t hear a peep out of other guests. Breakfast started at 7:30 and was a buffet style with a range of foods to satisfy most everyone, with a staff person who served coffee, kept our cups full and cleaned up after us. This is not a large property and the rooms were “tight”. But vacant floor space in a room is over-rated, especially if it’s used mainly as a base for exploring Reykjavik. It isn’t the Center Hotel, but it wan’t billed or priced as such. My wife and I give the property an “A” rating for what it is.

Definitely a Treasure!
From the moment we stepped in the door we felt welcome! Even though our international flights arrived six hours before check-in time, she welcomed us to sit down for breakfast and prepared our room early. Steinumm was extremely helpful with many details and even made us breakfast to go when our departure needed to be 4 am. She gives the impression that it's much more than a job for her. Our memories of Iceland will bring a smile, in large part because of the warm and friendly atmosphere and delicious breakfasts here. It really felt like home away from home.

The guest house was lovely. The rooms are cute but a little bit small, especially the bathroom as under the roof. Felt a little bit expensive. We thought there was parking from hotels.com descriptor but there wasn’t actual free parking. We managed as we didn’t stay during the week but that could have been an issue. The breakfast spread was really amazing with homemade treats and freshly made coffee. Really had a “at home” feel

Room was in the attic and was tiny especially for 2 tall people. So after sleeping in a very soft bed and crouching in the room for a few days we both had sore backs. If you are tall please let the owner know so you can get a normal room.

A fantastic Bed & Breakfast right near the city center. Great restaurants all around and walking distance to a bunch of things. It was cozy and comfortable, and breakfast was wonderful. Place was super nice and in a great location. Although it’s a shared space, it almost feels like you have the place to yourself as the bedrooms are pretty secluded. Staff was so nice, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast being included is a huge perk. Parking was a bit confusing but we figured it out. You have to park in the parking garage just adjacent to the property. The one way roads near the property got us turned around initially as well. The parking garage apps didn’t work for us so we had to use the kiosk everytime, thankfully some nice people helped us out with that. But other than that it was perfect!

The property was just absolutely beutiful, located 2 minutes walk into town and to the harbor. The rooms were cosy and warm , allowing us to relax and feel a home away from home experience. Having a washing machine really helped to. After a week of staying here, im ready to pack up and moved to reykjavik. Genuinely couldnt give this property and experience evough credit. Definitely a honeymoon to remember. We will be back soon

Location in central Reykjavík but on a quiet street was ideal, room was cozy and clean, host was incredibly warm and welcoming, breakfasts were delicious. I would return in a heartbeat!
