Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme und komfortable Nacht im Hotel Borg. Die Lage ist ideal wenn man fussläufig Reykjavík erkunden möchte. Kostenpflichtige Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es ebenfalls in fussläufiger Entfernung. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Personal extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns ebenfalls zufrieden gestellt. Wir würden es definitiv empfehlen und auch wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Hotel aber am Wochenende laut
Unserer Aufenthalt im Hotel war nach einer 5 tägigen Wanderurlaub. Das Hotel war sehr schön, sauber und alles hat gut geklappt. Eine Warnung nur: Freitag und Samstag Nacht gab es unglaublich lautes Musik im Hotel Bar. Es war sehr schwierig zu schlafen. Samstag tagsüber gab es auch laute Konzerte im Park gegenüber. Für unsere Familie wäre es vielleicht besser gewesen ein ruhigeres Hotel zu buchen. Sonst war der Service sehr gut und wir waren allgemein zufrieden.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage
Das Hotel Borg liegt sehr zentral gelegen. Man ist an vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten in 5-10 Gehminuten. Busstationen, Restaurants und Supermarkt direkt um die Ecke. Das Hotelzimmer ist von der Größe absolut ausreichend und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Tipp: das Restaurant von Jamie Oliver im Hotel selbst. Wir würden sofort wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten!

Nette Zimmer, Lage gut, Service nicht existent
Die Lage mitten im Zentrum von Reykjavik ist super, das trifft in einer so kleinen Stadt allerdings auf die meisten Hotels zu. Das Zimmer war auch ok, das Hotelpersonal allerdings wirklich unfreundlich und nicht hilfreich wenn man Rückfragen zu Touren etc hatte. Auch wurde unser Zimmer nicht vernünftig gereinigt. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal definitiv ein anderes Hotel wählen.

Hotel Borg was our final hotel destination after staying at 4 other properties throughout Iceland. We enjoyed all for different reasons, but HB was definitely the crowned jewel. Understated elegance and old world charm. The renovations have been tastefully done to maintain the connections to the past and preserve the architectural motif. Highly recommend a stay here. The rooms are spacious and accommodating with a feeling of staying in a family vacation home. Location is also outstanding!

I love the ambience of this hotel, the oldest in the city. It has a very Art Deco appeal which I love. The cocktails at the bar were yummy and the young man who creates these concoctions is enthusiastic and studied in his art. The front desk workers were cordial and very helpful. I loved my room, comfortable and cozy. Finally, I had a massage at the spa and it was perfect. I will return.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is close to everything, from the town to the bus stops. Great breakfast in the morning. I used the gym, equipment worked and was clean. The spa was small but it had what I needed-hot tub. Steam and sauna. The room was amazing. Beautiful art deco decor and the shower was spacious. I highly recommend

This hotel is in a great location to get around to the bus stop for excursions and also to just walk around downtown in. The room was clean and super comfortable ! The staff was so nice as well. The only thing that I would make a comment about is how expensive the buffet breakfast is, so I would recommend eating elsewhere! But otherwise this was a great hotel and I recommend staying here! I will be staying here again if I visit again

Great hotel. Centrally located in Reykjavík. Rooms were fine and clean. Minimal towels but not a huge issue. You need to request cleaning as this will not be done daily. Drinks are pricey but worth it. Breakfast was nice. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Borg

Emplacement à 30 secondes du port. Personnel d'une très grande gentillesse. Parking souterrain (payant) a 5min a pieds pour stationner. Petit dejeuner avec beaucoup de choix.
