s Hotel, tolle Veranstaltungen!
Trotz telefonischer Zusage Wochen vor Ankunft konnte uns vor Ort doch kein Zweibettzimmer gegeben werden. Das Ausdrucken der Boardingpasses dauerte in Summe 4, insgesamt 3 Mal wurde ich gebeten, später wieder zu kommen, obwohl das eMail schon lange dort war und kein Andrang an der Rezeption war. Die Abba Veranstaltung war dafür sehr toll!

Gute Anbindung/Nähe zum Flughafen und Innenstadt. Shuttlebus ggf. auch Rückführung von Mietwagen. Großer Parkplatz. Nicht so gut waren/sind: Zu starker Raumduft im Bereich der Rezeption. Einrichtung der Zimmer etwas abgeranzt. Toilettenbrille locker, keine Toilettenbüste ??? Eingeschränkte Nachtruhr durch laute Musik (Disco?).

Klassisches Businesshotel. Dünne Wände und karge Einrichtung. Ganz ok für eine Nacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war Klasse und reichhaltig.

In die Jahre gekommenes Flughafenhotel
Das Hotel ist ein typisches Flughafen Hotel, das wohl schon so einige Jahrzehnte auf dem Buckel hat. Für eine Nacht sicher ok.. länger definitiv nicht. Das Bett war ein wenig durchgelegen, die Wände und der Boden könnten Refurbishment vertragen und die Möbel mal ausgetauscht werden. Typisch für GB sind die dünnen Wände. Reisende die in der Nacht das Hotel betreten/verlassen haben, fühlten sich an, als würden sie durchs Zimmer wandern. Nerviges Detail: der Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel ist nachts mit riesigen Flutlichtmasten beleuchtet. Wirklich dunkel ist das daher im Zimmer nicht. Außerdem liegt das Hotel in der Einflugschneise. Die Landebahn ist neben der Anlage und weniger als 500m entfernt. Der Flughafen wird 24/7 betrieben. Die Flugzeuge fliegen wenige hundert Meter vom Hotel entfernt und haben nur noch eine Höhe von wenigen hundert Metern.

Für ein Airport Hotel hatves alles was es braucht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Es ist ziemlich nah am Airport und 40 Minuten mit dem Bus weg von Glasgow City

Abgewohntes Hotel
Das Personal war uns gegen über gleichgültig und lustlos. Die Zimmer waren abgewohnt und müssten mal renoviert werden. Sie waren dreckig! Die Fahrstühle sind ein gefährliches Abenteuer.Die kostenfreienen Parkplätze, waren von einer lauten Grossverantstaltung im Haus doppelt und dreifach belegt. Der Hotelname verspricht mehr, als dahinter steckt.

renovierungsbedürftiges Airport-Hotel
Man merkt schon in der Empfangshalle, dass das Hotel seine besten Zeiten hinter sich hat. Die Aufzugstüren sind mit Pressspan verkleidet und der Teppich mit Panzertape auf dem Boden fixiert. Davon abgesehen bietet das Hotel jedoch einen guten Service für die günstigen Übernachtungspreise. Das Frühstück ist sehr deftig (continental und scottish) aber reichhaltig, die Zimmer sind sauber und es steht Kaffee und Tee bereit. Der Flughafentransfer ist sehr unkompliziert, man sollte jedoch 20min Puffer einberechnen, da unser Shuttle 20min zu spät losgefahren ist.

The room we had was not in good conditions, it was clean but will need a remodeling , the newest was the TV, you can hear noises people from rooms next to you. Room did not have a Minibar or something similar.If you just sleep a night or two it is ok but do not expect any luxus.

Stayed for 2 nights, no do not disturb/service sign, asked for one and didn’t get, so room was not serviced, lights broken in room, bathroom toilet lid broken, not a good stay this time

I only stayed the 1 night and got there very late, so I don't have a lot of details. The front desk personnel were very nice - I just happened to arrive at a VERY BUSY time (Friday night, possibly some sports teams were there?). The room was acceptable - my bathroom had large water stains/damage on the wall between the sink and the toilet - and the large towel and tub both had curly hair(s) on it, so I did not take a shower. I didn't report this at the time as I was leaving to catch a plane. Overall, it was meh, but the price was also kinda meh, so it matched. If necessary, I would stay there again.

Not worth the money
Room was dated, very small tv, water marks on furniture, chewing gum stain on carpet, carpet also had a rip in it. The bathroom mirror which had a fitted light didn't work

Last minute booking due to cancelled BA flight at 9pm. Lucky I got a last minute booking at Normandy Hotel for the night which was a lifesaver. Could tell staff had been rushed off their feet due to flight disruptions but handled it really well - great venue and friendly staff, would recommend if you need to stay 10 mins from the airport.

Convenient place to stay while being close to the airport. Staff were great! The room was small and mediocre for the price, the walls are thin so the noise from the hallway was loud. The restaurant/bar were very nice.

If you want a nice quiet sleep don’t stay here especially at the weekend. It was like a mixture of a party and a war zone on my floor. Even after being told to reduce the noise it was just as bad.

Room was clean an in good shape. Shuttle driver and bar staff were excellent. One of the front desk staff was excellent but another should not be working with people - she didn't want to answer questions and came across as hostile & rude both times I interacted with her. Drills and hammers heard in evening up to 10pm from floor below. I really like the location and services offered here. Staff in the past as well as all but but one person this time were excellent. Given the poor front desk person and inexplicable evening construction noise, will look at other places next time before booking here. Have liked the place in the past but am unsure it's direction now.

Don't bother booking.
The room was extremely run down. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The tables were all chipped. The light switches didnt all have covers on them. There was a hole in the bathroom wall. The bath wasnt clean. We borrowed the Iron, which was covered in sticky muck. The walls was very thin - you really could here everything. We wont be staying again.
