Kent International, Ramsgate

Excellent location, across the road from the harbour, and 50 m from the town center. The room we had on the first floor was very small, and the furnishings were in a very poor state, however, the bed was comfortable, and the linen was clean.The staff on the desk were excellent. The breakfast was good, and there was very little noise during the night.

liked the hotel but it is in need of some refurbishment toilet seat broken, sink cracked,staff very good ,good position but a lot of road noise.

VERY IMPRESSED

lovely hotel, we only booked the day before and was not dissapointed. Rooms were larger than average, very clean and comfortable, with plenty of tea and coffee. We had a problem with the noise from the downstairs room with doors banging constantly(over 2 hours), I went down to reception and they apogogised, and showed us the only 2 available, and we moved straight away. They were very efficient,. We had a lovely meal that evening in the restaurant, and the breakfast was also lovely. everything there you could want. Would recommend this hotel for any age group(we are retied), but it is so central, overlooking the harbour, with everything so close by.

Good location

Seafront hotel woth fab views. Hotel has been refurbished but is still dated and tired but the staff are excellent. Lunches are OAP specials. Parking is in the public multi opposite with a voucher from 3pm that day until 11am the next day which is very convenient. Hotel is in the middle of the shopping area, not a quiet location and within yards of restaurants and bars, right opposite the police station. Ramsgate has seen better days but is a great base for places like Broadstairs. Really hope Rasmgate revives as it has a lot to offer. Maritime Museum is opposite in the harbour.

Great location

We enjoyed our long weekend at the Kent International hotel. Having read the reviews on tripadvisor,I agree that the hotel is a bit dated, especially our bathroom. The location is great though,near bars,shops and restaurants and right on the harbour front. Breakfast was very good.Parking is easy and complimentary in the multi-storey car park next door. The staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. Could probably have got a nicer room in one of the chain hotels, but they are usually not in the prime locations, and if so, not at this price. So we will return.
