6-bedroom Penthouse Apartment - The Beacon
This lakefront premium penthouse apartment features expansive living spaces, 2 massive balconies with a total of three hot tubs commanding 180-degree views of the lake and mountains. Perfect for large groups as this multi-unit features two well equipped kitchens.
Note: the apartment resides within the Beacon hotel.
Kitchen: Two fully equipped kitchens enables our guests to create that delicious family feast in your home away from home. You can also cook outside on the provided BBQ
Lounge: Included in the multi-unit is two separate living and dining spaces, both with a fireplace and air conditioning, a 4K 72” Smart TV with sound bar and a large sofa that can be converted to a bed. This is in the downstairs lounge. Please note that the sofa bed will only be setup upon prior request.
Bathroom: Equipped with quality amenities and consumables with underfloor heating
Bedrooms: Our bedrooms are warm and comfortable and are provided with quality bedding material for a good nights sleep. Five king beds that can be split into singles upon prior request. Four bedrooms have ensuites. Heating and air conditioning in every room.
Laundry: Large washing machine and dryer included with a fold out ironing board. Drying Cabinet - Have your snow gear, boots, gloves dry for the next day. Communal laundry is also located on the buildings 5th floor if needed.
Two External Storage Cupboards: Located on level 10 close to the front door of the apartment, the storage cupboards are there to store any large belongings such a bikes, skies etc. Keypad access for rental companies to drop off equipment. Power supply, lighting, smoke and heat detectors so e-bike charging is available.
Floor Plan is as follows: This is a multi-unit penthouse featuring three separate neighbouring units with an interconnecting door, providing opportunity to access the whole space via one door or split into several sections.
Penthouse is accessed by elevator or the building stairs and is on the top floor (10th).
Unit 1002: (3-bedroom unit) Three bedrooms with two splitable super king beds and a queen bed, one shared bathroom with bidet and one ensuite bathroom with bathtub; a well equipped kitchen; dining table and spacious balcony with outdoor seating, last but not least a lounge with 75 inch TV and gas fireplace.
From elevator you`ll have to walk private 10-12 steps to units 1003 and 1004 located next to each other.
Unit 1003: Studio unit with bathroom small dining table. Small conveniences like microwave but no kitchen and no kitchen sink. Large shared with unit 1004 balcony and outdoor sitting.
Unit 1004:Two bedroom unit each with own bathroom; compact sized kitchen with dining area; lounge and large balcony with outdoor sitting, BBQ. Balcony is shared with unit 1003.
Parking: 3 x covered parking in buildings garage carpark Note: no oversized vehicles including campervans
Wi-Fi: Data is free and unlimited.
Kitchen amenities: We supply a nespresso coffee machine, coffee pods, coffee plunger, instant coffee, tea, sugar and milk.
LAUNDRY: - Communal washer and dryer are available in the building
Location and proximity: Ideally located by the lake, the apartment offers easy walking access to the lake front, while still within close proximity to all the happening.

Message from Ray: This unit is located in the Peppers Beacon building. Optional sofa bed for a 7th Guest can be made taking the space in front of the large TV in lounge. Sofa beds are not as comfortable as a full mattress beds and I do not recommend those for light sleepers or people with back problems. The option is for convenience.

CHECK-IN: AFTER 3:00 PM
Our advice: If you arrive earlier (or anticipate to arrive early) and would like to drop off your bags ahead of check-in please do contact us. We will try our best to accommodate your request and make arrangement with housekeeping accordingly. Entry before 3pm without notification can be treated as illegal trespassing.
CHECKOUT: BEFORE 10:00 AM
(We will be charged by our cleaners for time spent waiting outside the accommodation past 10am for guests to vacate, their charge is 50 NZD/hour and we will pass this cost to guests. If you check-out past 10:00am leading to compensation to our next Guests due to late check-in or any other way - we will need pass compensation cost to you)
Our advice: If you need to check out later than 10am due to any unforeseen circumstances please contact us as early as possible. Our cleaners run on a tight schedule but we will try our best to accommodate it.
SELF-CHECK-IN
Three days before your arrival we will send you detailed `guest book` via email as well as via Airbnb message. Inside you will find check-in, check-out, and rubbish handling instructions. They are extension of these house rules and hereby you agree to follow them.
Our advice: Our guidebook is online accessible so you can conveniently access it anywhere anytime on your own device. However if you do not anticipate having internet access at time of check-in please download/save our check-in instruction ahead of time.
FURNITURE
If you move furniture during your stay please move them back to their original location prior to check-out.
DAMAGED ITEMS
We understand accidents happen sometimes, but please notify us. We don’t normally charge for replacement of smaller items, this just allows us to replenish broken items or arrange fixes promptly.
RUBBISH
All rubbish should be properly disposed of in designated rubbish/recycling bins or areas.
KITCHEN CLEANING
Our cleaning fees does NOT include cutlery, crockery, glassware, outdoor grill, oven, or cookware cleaning. Any of the mentioned left dirty after check-out may incur an extra cleaning fee. Our advice: Do clean your dishes, cutlery, utensils, outdoor grill and cookware prior to your departure. You can load them into the dishwasher (if present) and turn it on. Our team will clean them further after unloading if needed and put them back in storage.
OUTDOOR GRILL
If an outdoor grill is present on the premise, please ensure it is cleaned after use.
EXTRA CLEANING FEE
Should it be necessary to clean carpets, remove stains, smell of smoke, or remove excess rubbish, the cost will be charged at a rate of 60 NZD/hour.
USE OF TV
If you use TV/DVD/SmartUV and/or attach any additional equipment, please return all settings to how you found them. If our next Guest call us to set up the TV/DVD/SmartUV for them due to cable being unplugged or smart TV cannot connect to the internet or OnlineFreeview being signed-out we will pass a call-out cost of 60nzd to you. Our advice: please be considerate, not everybody is good with technology and can set the tv on their own.
LOST KEYS
If guest loses the accommodation key or the garage door remote or if guest is locked out of the accommodation all associated call out charge and replacement cost will be passed to guest. Our advice: Keep the keys inside the lockbox when going out to minimise this risk.
NO SMOKING
Some of our accommodations are equipped with smoke detectors that are linked directly to Queenstown fire brigade. Any activation will trigger a fire brigade visit and the incurred fees will be passed to guest.
COOKING

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS
