It is very misleading because there is no actual hotel called Caribbean Ocean Breeze Beach Hotel - it is part of a larger vacation room rentals operation, it appears. I opted to pay at the hotel when I arrived, but the driver wasn't even sure if it was the right place because there were no coordinates given, just a vague address (it was called "Tropicana" on the office door"). The staff were not able to look up my reservation number because I did it through Expedia and there was no way for them to figure it out. They were going to honor my Expedia price but had to upcharge me $40 because of other fees and the credit card wouldn't even process. They were going to have me go to an ATM to withdraw cash to pay. I spoke with other guests who all had similar issues, but they were being charged much less for their room than mine, but felt there was some type of scam going on with it. With the help of locals I ended up not paying and finding room for a fraction of the price. I saw the room first, and it was fine, but definitely not worth my original price of $160. They should not call it a HOTEL, they should advertise it as a vacation room rental - owened by different people as it's very confusing.
