Deep freez view
The Hotel is located on a privat island with the best view to lake tittacaca. I t looks like the Hotel wants to safe Money saving Energy costs, not offering heating in all public places. My room after leaving was heating switched off from housekeeping, Extra heater ( noisy) couldnt solve low temperatures in my suite 18 C. In The Restaurant for breakfast and Dinner, all guest was dressed with warm jackets max Temperatures 14 C. The water temperatures for shower and sink was max 22 C The whole Interieur of the hotel is more than 25 years old.

Great accommodations for visiting Puni and Lake Titicaca. Fewer staff spoke English, so sometimes harder to communicate for non-Spanish speakers. There was a coffee pot in the room, but could not get coffee to put in it.

The hotel sits at the foot of Lake Titicaca providing excellent views from all rooms. Buffet style breakfast with a great selection. Since the lake is high up in the Sierra, altitude sickness will likely happen anywhere you stay in Puno. Since we all needed oxygen during our stay, the staff delivered oxygen tanks to the room as requested. Excellent service, highly recommended.

Beautiful property Had good amenities Our experience had a clean visit and very friendly staff. As per front desk, the temp was a bit higher than normal, so the room was warm, a bit warmer than what I like. Even with opening the windows This has nothing to take away from the wonderful experience

Superior service and Fabulous property in a private island with great amenities inside the island. So you are in for both sunrise and sunset views. I had sunset booked but had to go late. Mirales upgraded my room and gave me sunrise view room to make my one day stay awesome. Do you need anything more for me to say? Just book it.

Not 5 Star at all — More like an outdated Motel
Firstly, I never leave reviews but had to for this hotel. I am completely shocked this hotel has high ratings on hotels.com, and that it is a 5 star Hotels. It is like a 2 or 3 star motel. While it was affordable, it is very outdated and not a comfortable hotel to stay in. I trust hotel.com ratings when making my bookings, and did that when looking for a hotel in Puno. This is far from a 5 star!! In a bad way.. Rooms do not have A/C, so we were forced to open the windows to get fresh airflow and unfortunately the smell of this area of Lake Titicaca is very sulfuric so not a great smell for inside your room. Amenities were very basic, and reminded me of motels in the United States. Breakfast was all cold and very dry, and the staff at front desk wasn’t great. They noted they had a spa, and it was a jacuzzi that was half full of very green water, and a tiny gym. The view from the room is the only nice thing about this hotel, but it really should be remodeled or rebuilt. We are still shocked that it can be considered 5 star and have zero clue how it got that status…

The property claims as 5 star hotel but its not worth for the price paid. Very limited food options and everything is expensive including water and coffee. Property is located outside of puno city so guests cant even go out to get good dinner. Hotel doesnt provide any transportation to the port or the city. Definitely not worth for the price

The view was out of the world! I had taken a lake view room, it was upgraded at check in to a lake view suite. The view from our room was so good that we just felt like staying the room most of the time!

Bien arrivé, lieu sécurisé, service au top, restaurant agreable et hygiene impecable. Par contre le service "tour operator" est excessivement cher comparé au "doityourselft" ou meme les agences du centre ville. Niveau eco-responsabilité aucun effort fait ou constater. Le batiment blanc jure dans le paysage au point que les locaux denigrent fortement la clientèle s 'y trouvant.

Todo excelente, el Check in y el check out muy rápidos siempre dispuestos a ayudarte en lo q necesites transporte, actividades, etc. El menú de almuerzo súper rico, las camas muy cómodas y muy limpio todo. Lo único q no me gusto es que apagan el aire acondicionado en la noche aunque debo destacar que cuando informe mi molestia me llevaron un ventilador. Aún así sería bueno que no apagaran los aires acondicionados en la noche el cuarto no es que se queda tan frío que digamos.

The staff were pleasant the hotel was very nice and the views over lake titicaca were amazing. Big shout out to Neil from the on-site tour company who organized our trip to Uros at short notice (6pm the night before the trip) after we had issues with our pre-booked tour, as well as organizing other trips and looking out for us, he went above and beyond to make sure everything went well for us.

Clearly nicer property compared to other ones in Puno and Lake Titicaca. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Outdoor set-up is nice. The room is nice with good views, but outdated (e.g.blowdryer looks like its from 80s).

Un hotel fabuloso y tranquilo en el Titicaca.
De este hotel nos ha encantado todo: las instalaciones, los profesionales, el restaurante y su deliciosa comida, el silencio y las vistas preciosas al lago Titicaca. Si quieres bullicio y jaleo éste no es tu hotel pues está a mas de 4 kms del centro, pero si lo que buscas es silencio y una maravillosa vista con el privilegio de ver preciosos amaneceres y atardeceres, éste es tu hotel, no te arrepentiras.

Great staff in a great location
The service at GHL was excellent, really friendly staff who went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was very nice and had a range of options. The “spa” was not in operation and was very tired looking. The rooms themselves were really nice but with a bit more refurbishment and TLC this hotel really could be spectacular. Charges for early check-in were quite steep. The location is outside Puno but worth it for the spectacular lake views. Would recommend this hotel for visitors to Lake Titicaca.

Incredible location and views on the lake. The hotel is located about 10min from the city center of Puno. At the time of our visit, security issues were still a concern in Puno and the hotel allowed us to visit the lake with no concerns. They offer tours at very high prices but with special services, including pick up and drop off at their private pier.
