Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback both positive and constructive. I’m sorry you didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast. Most tours in Isabela start at 7:30am at the earliest. We start breakfast at 7:00am daily as this suits the majority of our guests. When asked, we are happy to get breakfast out a few minutes early. We always try to accommodate our guests schedule. Most rooms have doors that open directly to the ocean, not windows. On the doors we do not have fly screens as it interrupts the beautiful ocean view. If we would have known that there were mosquito’s in your room, we would have gladly sprayed as soon as you left for a tour to make sure they didn’t bother you in the night. We know how unpleasant it is to have even one mosquito in your room! Our pricing reflects the remote location of Galapagos and Isabela Island in particular, our dedication to paying our team well and our ongoing efforts to become more and more sustainable in such a delicate destination — solar hot water heating is our next project! Dear guest, Its unfortunate that you were disappointed that we were unable to offer you a late checkout. During the period between Christmas and New year the hotel is generally completely full as it was in this case and we had to respect the stated checkout times as we had passengers coming in. You were offered a secure place (managers office) for your personal documents to be kept, unfortunately you chose not to take this option. We hope, despite this, you enjoyed your stay with us.
