"Blackpool ist wie Detroit am Meer. Traurig anzuschauen, aber interessant. Das Hotel hier passt genau ins Bild. Man hätte es schon vor langer Zeit kernsanieren müssen.Was uns gar nicht gefallen hat, war die Sauberkeit sowohl im Zimmer als auch beim Frühstücksgeschirr. "

"Ich finde alte Gebäude toll, wenn sie gepflegt sind. Dieses Hotel ist einfach nur alt UND dreckig, ungepflegt, kaputt wo man hinschaut. Das Zimmer war für 200 Pfund die Nacht einfach nur schrecklich. Die Bilder täuschen komplett. Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht, haben aber nach einer Nacht ausgecheckt. Das Frühstück war okay und die Lage ist toll. Das hat aber nichts mehr gerettet. "

"The lobby, dining room and architecture are special and absolutely befitting of a 4 star hotel. The room was ok. We found the beds very comfortable but the furniture was a bit old and rickety. The TV wasn’t too impressive. In this day and age I would expect to be able to connect my phone to the TV. Even my 10 year old Smart TV can manage that. The bathroom wasn’t in the bed condition and in need of renovation. Breakfast was a good experience. We were very satisfied with the range of cooked and healthy options. The service at breakfast was exemplary. I really loved the history of the hotel and the information posters were very interesting. "
