„Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. We would have liked to have had a later breakfast especially as it was Sunday . Although the breakfast service was ...

„A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly“

„Etwas abseits der Innenstadt - mit dem Auto aber kein Problem. Frühstück wurde auf dem Zimmer serviert, es war aber von allem etwas dabei. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Am Ende der Straße in weniger als 2 Minuten zu Fuß liegt ein netter Pub mit einfachem Essen.“

„Very Polite and helpful staff“

„I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.“

„We had the loveliest time staying with Mandy and Marc. All the little details were perfect - from the cosy, well equipped bedroom and the spacious, clean bathroom to the delicious breakfast and friendly, homely feeling throughout. They offered us lifts to and from the ferry, which was so kind and also accommodated our slightly later breakfast time. We will 100% stay here again next time we’re on the Isle of Wight. “

„Loved the property, we stayed in the chalet. Facilities are excellent & the buffet breakfast provided was more than ample. Located in a quiet area but very convenient for town centre, a nice walk along the canal takes you into town. Had a very friendly welcome from James who explained how everything worked. Definitely stay again if we need accommodation in Romsey.“

„Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast.“
