Mitten im Zentrum von Porto. Grosse Zimmer, freundliche Rezeption. Zur Zeit durch U-Bahn Baustelle beeinträchtigt, dort darf 24/7 gearbeitet werden, diese Beeinträchtigung wird wohl noch 2024 andauern. Das Angebot des Hotel ist sehr entgegenkommend. Wechsel des Zimmers oder auch Wechsel in ein anderes Hotel wird angeboten. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer.

Altmodisches Hotel im neuen Stil. Frühstück klein aber fein und sehr lecker! Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir waren 4 Tage in Porto. Das Hotel liegt optimal im Stadtzentrum und man erreicht alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in max 10-15 min Fußweg. Wir würden direkt wieder kommen. Sehr zufrieden!

Das Hotel haben wir wegen der günstigen Lage gewählt. Wir bekamen vor Anreise auch eine Mitteilung, dass wegen einer U-Bahn-Baustelle Zufahrtsbehinderungen auftreten. Leider erwies sich schon die Erreichbarkeit für den Taxifahrer bei der Anreise als Problem, der uns irgendwo in der Nähe aus dem Auto ließ, den Rest (15 Minuten mit Gepäck auf Kopfsteinpflaster, das alles nachts um zwei!!!) mussten wir ohne Ortskenntnisse allein bewältigen. Morgens um 5:30 wurden wir nach einer extrem kurzen Nacht bereits durch die Kompressoren der U-Bahn-Baustelle geweckt, sozusagen unter unserem Fenster. Der sonst wunderbare Ausblick auf die Praca Liberdade zeigte uns ebenfalls eine einzige Baustelle. Unser Ansinnen, ein anderes Zimmer zu bekommen, war nicht von Erfolg gekrönt, angeblich sind alle Zimmer in Richtung Baustelle, doch man erwies sich als kulant und erklärte sich bereit, uns die restlichen Nächte auszuzahlen. Der Rezeptionist Diego verdient eine besondere Erwähnung, da er sich geduldig und sehr freundlich um uns bemühte, das Storno bei Expedia regelte, bei anderen Hotels anrief (wir brauchten ja ein anderes Zimmer) und sich auch um ein Taxi für uns kümmerte. Für das Personal also klar volle Punktezahl. Das Hotel sich ist hübsch. Das zImmer (und vor allem das Bad) waren klein, aber schön und sauber, das Frühstück gut. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral (wenn keine Baustelle mehr da ist!), unweit des Bahnhofs Sah Bento (quer über die Straße) und man hat hier einen guten Startpunkt.

This hotel was fantastic! Central to everything and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and the hotel is maintained beautifully. Has a great roof top deck where you can enjoy breakfast or just the view any other time. I would stay here again. We toured Porto by foot from this location and saw everything we wanted to see! There is a lot of construction around but that did not bother us at all!

The location was ideal. It is very central to the city, BUT there is major subway construction going on two of the three sides of the hotel and the noise goes on often through the night. With the windows closed it is loud. Open it is very loud to the point you would not be able to sleep. The staff were great and helpful. The foom had a strange layout, but was great. Paolo up in the breakfast are was also very nice and the source of a lot of local information - very nice guy.

Nice hotel that’s super convenient for exploring the city. Friendly staff at reception. Great value for money. I stayed in a single occupancy and the divide wasn’t exactly sound proof. Those looking for silence might want to consider the extensive construction down the road - Feb 2024

Excellent location to explore Porto. Helpful employee at the front desk, although we had a few minutes wait until someone arrived, and we checked in. I would’ve appreciated a box of Kleenex. A box of Kleenex would have been appreciated.
