Vilar de Andorinho is a civil parish in the municipality of Vila Nova de Gaia, part of the Porto District.

It is known for its pleasant residential neighbourhoods and offers a more tranquil and suburban environment compared to the bustling city of Porto. The region features a mix of lovely developments and traditional Portuguese architecture, providing a comfortable living space for its residents.

One notable attraction in the area is the Igreja de São Cristóvão (Church of São Cristóvão), a historic church with architectural and cultural significance. The church's design and age reflect the region's rich heritage.

Being located just across the Douro River from Porto, Vilar de Andorinho provides easy access to the amenities and attractions of Portugal's second-largest city. This proximity to Porto allows residents and visitors to enjoy all the city offers, including its historical sites, vibrant cultural scene, delicious cuisine, and iconic landmarks like the Ribeira district and the Porto wine cellars.

The property is conveniently located near Parque Municipal da Lavandeira, providing a serene natural setting for visitors seeking relaxation without straying too far from urban conveniences. Additionally, just a 17-minute walk, at El Corte Inglés, guests can indulge in many activities, such as upscale shopping, fine dining at premium restaurants, and exploring gourmet products.

The property is easily accessible by public transport and car.

The nearest subway station, D. João II, is just a 17-minute walk.

Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport is a 35-minute drive from the property.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
