Ick!

We were less than happy with the Admiral Motel in Scarborough, Maine. It was advertised as "squeaky clean" but there were bug splatters on the walls and the window casings were dirty. Our bathroom door wouldn't close properly which caused some uncomfortable moments. It did have a mini-fridge and a microwave but no coffee pot & we didn't see the advertised "continental breakfast." The rooms were very, very small but it is fairly close to Old Orchard Beach. I guess you get what you pay for! I know that we won't be returning to the Admiral Motel.

The room was clean and comfortable and the innkeepers were friendly and helpful. What more could a person want on stay away from home?

Better than I expected

Very nicely situated, basic but very clean and adequate accommodations. Beautiful view of the marsh from the parking lot. Quiet and comfortable. Microwave and little refrigerator in the room were a nice bonus. Friendly service.
