Super Lage um Midwales zu erkunden
Sehr nettes Hotel in super Lage. Man kann mit der Dampflok in drei Richtungen fahren. Auf alle Fälle Portmeirion ansehen.

Was a great stay and Claire was was a wonderful host! We rolled in late in the afternoon and had a comfy nap before roaming for dinner. Breakfast was great and the space is so well curated! And Claire love LEGO and there are a few builds on display which scored major points with me! Hehehe Highly recommend!

This is an excellent b and B, very close to the centre of Porthmadog. It has lots of off street parking, is spotlessly clean, and the breakfast is excellent. The owners and staff are also very friendly and helpful. There was nothing at all we could criticise.

We stayed for 2 nights & found everything to be as per the description and previous reviews. Claire & Steve were very welcoming, the accommodation was very clean & comfortable; breakfast was plentiful and varied. No hesitaton in recommending to others.

A fantastic place to stay
Not very often I agree with so many other reviews but this is one of those times! The check in process was extremely easy and welcoming. The room was fantastic and spotless as well as the en-suite shower room. The selection available at breakfast was something else and the cooked breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. On top of all this, you are minutes away on foot from everything Porthmadog has to offer. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area

We stayed for three nights. We had a warm and friendly reception and found our room to be spotless. The bed was very comfortable and we had quiet nights' sleep. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range to choose from either at the continental bar or from the main cooked menu. Overall, an excellent stay at an excellent B&B.

Excellent overall but very hot in room as fridge was in the wardrobe which was like an oven. The only thing I would change would be the toilet roll holder. I caught my arm twice on the sharp edges. But I would stay here again & they were so friendly & helpful

The property was conveniently located for Porthmadog town and harbour. The location and the availability of safe off-road parking was one of the reasons that we chose this place to stay. We were made to feel welcome on arrival and the room had everything that we needed including tea and coffee facilities (fresh milk supplied), a large comfortable bed and a nice ensuite with a modern shower. Breakfast was included and had an excellent choice of cereals, continental style cheese and cold meats plus cooked options. Overall we considered the accommodated to be good value for money and we would stay there again if we were in the area.

Worth every penny.
Excellent. Friendly welcome. Excellent location for harbour shops and railway. The Cottage stayed in was spotless and comfortable. Plenty of car parking space. Plentiful choices for breakfast. Will definitely book again if visit the area again.

I stayed at Tudor Lodge for 3 nights as I was attending a wedding at Portmeirion. Very friendly hosts who made me feel mos welcome and the my room was clean, warm and very comfortable with a very modern and spacious ensuite. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast every morning with great choices from porridge, cereals, continental to full English in very pleasant dining room. I have no hesitation in recommending Tudor Lodge as it really is good value for money with great facilities.

Room decor to high standard and clean. Breakfast room very pleasant. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and very good quality. Only issue was initial welcome which was not the friendly welcome advertised. Arrived on time after 4 hour drive and explained we would be looking for somewhere to eat the response to which was 'Good Luck with that!' On going to room the hotel info. stated that they offered sandwiches / drinks etc up until 6pm but had not been mentioned? Apart from chance to do business it seemed very unwelcoming. Perhaps Lady was having a bad day?

Hi Alan,Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you felt that "Good luck with that" (which I will say was not said in any derogative way). Everywhere is struggling for staff and getting food in an evening without a reservation is very difficult. Which I did tell you after I said good luck. I was no way unwelcoming. (This is a UK wide issue and not just localised which you may have seen in the press regularly or on the news?)I feel that this mark reflects more on the fact that you tried to go round others at breakfast with an A4 paper and try to tell people about prostate cancer to which I said please don't do that its not appropriate. (you don't know our guests circumstances and canvasing them whilst they having breakfast is not fair, which you agreed.As for you mentioning the drinks/sandwiches in your review, after a long journey (which you stated you had to me) the last thing you want to do is listen to me babble on about everything we have/do etc, this is why we have guest information folder and we state to ALL our guests "please read the guest information folder, it has all the information about us here and local eateries etc". This I believe is a better use of your time after a long journey. Regards

Fantastic
Wonderful small hotel in Porthmadog. Claire was extremely welcoming and could not be more helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was always clean and had everything I needed. The real highlight were the breakfasts which were some of the best I have had in hotels, so much variety and all delicious. I will certainly stay again when in that part of Wales.

Porthmadog Paradise
Exceptional room, beautiful bed linen and artwork. 10/10 for cleanliness and comfort with lovely little extras; fridge, cool air fan, umbrella, lovely coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Very good breakfast selection both hot and cold, top-class ingredients. Owners offer afternoon tea and picnic hampers, great drinks selection. Great location for exploring the area, owners provided details about best places to eat nearby, we used two of their recommendations which were also fabulous.

Weekend stay for a wedding at Portmerion
Stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding in Portmeirion. It serves our needs ideally and we just got taxis to and from Portmereirion. The accommodation was lovely and a special mention for the breakfast which is as good as some of the 4/5 star hotels and all cooked fresh. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Hi Christine, Thank you for your review. We would just like to point out we do not in any of our information that we have views. We are a town centre guest house so all our views will be town views. Also all the sizes of our rooms are stated on all booking sites. If you had wanted a large room then may I suggest you book a large double next time for your one night stay.

Great little find, would definitely recommend.
What a lovely little find. Such a warm and friendly welcome, with great owners in Claire & Steve. The room was clean, comfortable and had great amenities,; with nice little touches to make our stay such a good one. Breakfast was spot on; we couldn’t ask for anything more. Claire was chatty and very helpful, with good knowledge of the local area and places we wished to visit, which was really useful. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for making our few days away such a pleasure.

Good Evening Thomas,Thank you for your review, however we are slightly baffled by this? You and your partner entered the cottage and said WOW! You both then proceeded to have a lovely time (you did book last minute). You never once said anything was wrong. You also seemed to have had a lovely stay when you left. You asked about family accommodation and said you would be back. And stay longer. Not sure you would come back if we were only 4/10? Bamboozled is how we feel about this review.
