Hi Paula, Thank you for your review and feedback. We have been continuing to look into the power outages. However, we have not had any recently. This suggests that it was likely an electrical appliance someone was using in another room that was tripping the power. We're sorry that your stay with us did not live up to your expectations. We have changed our operations with our tour operator that they do now (again) come down the driveway to collect our guests.

Hi Devina, Thanks for such a great review. Yes there are quite a few mosquitos around in December! We do spray regularly, but when there are many days with consecutive rain, we have to wait for a sunny day. We do hope to see you again!

Thankyou for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed the privacy of our Lodge- we do work hard to maintain the peace and serenity that our guests enjoy. We do understand that a few areas are looking a bit tired- but we are undertaking upgrades and have been doing so over the last 3 years. We hope you come back to Fatumaru Lodge in the coming years to see these areas looking fresh again!

Since 2017 we have been investing heavily in improvements for Fatumaru Lodge- you will have enjoyed our new beds and updated Seafront Studios. We have renovated the pool and deck and will soon be undertaking a renovation of the breakfast area. We do hope that you will be back some day to enjoy our further renovations!
