Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
The host was very good about communication. The unit was very clean when we checked in and nice and spacious. The Keurig was very convenient as was the stocked kitchen, as far as silverware and what not, although I think there’s only coffee mugs, no regular cups. Some things to keep in mind: the apartment is in a house with multiple dwellings: the walls are super thin. You will hear the other residents. Both nights we were awoken by crying children, which is understandable, we had small children at one time too, but it's good to know beforehand. The shower is so small it is impossible to not have the curtain cling to you unless you utilize a weight to keep it away. It is only a 15-minute walk to downtown, but I would not walk it at night. The neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. There is one towel per possible person but the laundry machines were immensely helpful and we washed towels when we washed our clothes. Downtown is great! There are a few good restaurants, a brewery, and a sweetshop with great ice cream and nostalgic candies. We did some walking along the canal. This location is also a good spot for a home base to travel from, so we didn't spend too much time in the unit, as we were sightseeing all day. Overall, for the price this is a great option, just keeping in mind some of the realities of the unit, but if you need somewhere to stay while you venture out each day, it’s not bad at all.
