Our stay was amazing!!! I chose to propose at spicers and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The staff especially Peter went above and beyond to make our special day magical. I will definetly be staying there again as the memories made there will last a lifetime!!!

Fanastic property would highly recommend staying there. Room was terrifc but they need to upgrade the shower roses so that you can have a decent shower!

Kangaroos and top quality service!
Just back from a fantastic stay at Spicers Vineyard Estate. Every little detail was thought of and the staff were so considerate and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was superb with all the facilities and extras you’d expect from a quality venue with a wood fire and private balcony. The highlight for us were the kangaroos who came to visit each day. There were so many of them and it was wonderful to see them just hopping around. Thank you to all the staff, especially Katheryn who went out of her way to rearrange our dinner, Phillip who got us there and back and Monika for her welcome. Truly a lovely place to stay. Would love to return and would recommend it in a heartbeat!

Excellent! Every interaction with the staff was phenomenal. Amazing attention to detail in every aspect of our stay. They have thought of everything! Restaurant Botanica was fabulous. The room was very clean, loved the extra touches with the books/decor and personalised note. The pool was great, appreciated that they had sunscreen, water and towels set up ready for you. Liked that you could check in online before arrival to speed up the process. Beautiful hotel. Highly recommend.

We stayed 2 nights in Spicers vineyards estates. The room itself is good size with comfortable bed. There are only one large French window in living room and unfortunately it faces on the walk way. We had to put the curtains down all the time to keep privacy. There is no view from the room and only darkness. All rooms in the ground floor are the same design.

Fantastic Romantic Resort
Spicers Vineyards Estate was perfect from start to finish. We were upgraded to a suite at check-in, and the room was clean, modern, well appointed and stocked with firewood. The restaurant, Botanical, was excellent for lunch/dinner (same menu), and had several delicious gluten-free options. The complimentary breakfasts each morning were truly inspired. The staff was amazing (especially Brie and the manager, whose name we cannot remember) - very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They will shuttle you to and from the sister property's restaurant, which was also good. There are several excellent restaurants in Pokolbin nearby. We initially planned only two nights. We stayed three nights, and lamented that we could not stay longer. A romantic, relaxing, well appointed resort with no issues at all. Happy hour drinks and wine and cheese are often provided, and the grounds are beautiful. There is an organic garden, and Crackles, the resort's pet pig, is friendly and fun. Perhaps the most memorable aspect was seeing local wild kangaroos grazing and playing on the property near the pond each evening. We had no complaints

A great one night stay.
A great welcome with a glass of sparkling wine! Friendly staff. Sadly we were there on a Monday night when the hotel restaurant was closed. There was a bar/restaurant a five minute drive away which was fine. We only stayed one night so didn’t have any time to explore. Next time we shall stay longer.

We had an amazing stay, rooms are comfortably luxurious, grounds are lovely, Botanica restaurant is also great. It’s the perfect place to stay for quiet relaxing romantic time, being adults only and only 12 rooms. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. I’d love to give a 5/5 but have to deduct a point for the 1 hour plus wait for breakfast, and previous guests clothing left in the room. These things should not happen at a 5 star property.

Tranquil retreat
Arrived half an hour early and was greeted with a glass of bubbly and a very friendly welcome. Our bedroom/ apartment was amazing. Mountain bikes are available to use at your leisure. A complimentary tour of one of the local vineyards and an afternoon cocktail are the extra touches that make Spicer’s vineyard an absolute must stay. The food in the botanical restaurant was outstanding too. Staff are exceptional.

Consistent Luxury Stay
One of our favourite places to stay for a quick get-away from Sydney. They never disappoint and certainly didn't again. The service is always impeccable, clean and the food is very good. Just make sure you are there for when their restaurant is open for dinner - worth it!

Nice hotel in the amazing Hunter Valley
Not the same level as the other Spicers. But still a nice place to stay in Hunter Valley. If you have time to prepare - try to book the special lodges all around Hunter Valley, and not "regular" hotels. We arrived to Spicers Vineyards Estate after being in the amazing Blue Mountains Spicer that was much much unique. Nice hotel and nothing more. Good restaurant on site. Good location but no special view (comparing to other places in the valley)

Arrived in ghost town - nobody there!
Booked the hotel in the afternoon online, arrived at 19.00 - nobody there. Reception closed and all dark! Eventually discovered a note with a phone no to call in "emergency" - suprise - answeringmachine! Then tried next phone no and a very surprised persons answered and it took her at least 30 minutes to arrive. The restaurant was closed Mondays and Tuesdays, we had to head out in the dark to find somewhere to eat dinner. Was advised there had been an "staff emergency" that afternoon... However they do have a signpost up where it says closed after 18.00 hrs (see pic) Unfortunately we had pre-paid online or we would just have left! Next morning we asked for some extra bread for breakfast. Sorry, they only made one half giabatta for each guest....

Amazing Service In a Beautiful Location
Spicers Vineyard was amazing! All the staff were incredibly helpful and all round lovely. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. Delicious breakfasts, a bottle of free sparkling wine, complimentary afternoon cocktails. Dinner at the restaurant was well worth every penny. We went for a Hope Estate concert. The Rover bus stopped right out the front at the bottom of the driveway and the staff gave us ponchos to take with us, to help battle the afternoon rain storm. We were in the luxury spa suite (Room 12).The room was immaculate with a huge bathroom and a lovely balcony looking out over the vines.
