The Araras Ecolodge in this huge wetland area provided the perfect base for exploration, although you don't have to go far to find wildlife. Really a nice place to stay in the middle of nature. The food was great, and they included a free boat tour and ocelot viewing. We were also really lucky to see a Jaguar just across the small river from the lodge.
