Till date the worst resort I have ever been to. Rooms are clean but many bugs access to the beach is a mission all on it’s own rooms and eating area is up on a mountain and transportation is hit and miss they have one truck going around giving rides but good luck on that guy takes forever to come back to the pick up areas. And the food buffet if you want to call it that is terrible maybe 4 items if lucky and food is not good. No room service no phones in the rooms and any kind of service is nonexistent please keep away from this place we had to find other places to eat or do any kind of entertainment. I even had the hard decision of leaving a day earlier than I had paid for and paid for new flights.

Location is beautiful, staff is very accommodating. The place itself is really nice, it’s just they let it go a little bit. Could use some pressure washing and some new pool chairs. And there are old rundown carnival type rides that don’t work which is weird. Also, they had a couple things that was odd that we didn’t have like there were not any pepper shakers in the restaurant, which by the way I use the word restaurant loosely as it’s just a outside buffet bar that they use for all three meals. Also no washcloths in the rooms. Also, if you wanted to make a reservation for the other restaurant, you only could do it between two and four, and we were only able to do that one out of the four nights because they are apparently closed on Sundays. But for the price and location, I really can’t complain, those are just nitpicking. Again very great staff and beautiful location!

Pros: The pool was great, the food was okay- we ate out a few times. All inclusive so they have it all breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have a tram that takes you to and from your room to the common areas, also the hotel is kind of connected to the beach. You can walk there or take the tram. Cons: no clean towels, no pool towels, no phone in the rooms, no WiFi in the rooms we had to walk up the hill to just call our family and friends or post anything on ig since WiFi is only in the common areas. This location is prolly like 10-15 min from coco beach and you basically have to uber everywhere in Costa Rica or get a taxi

The pictures posted for this resort are 16 yrs old. There is no wifi in any rooms, all the decor is outdated and smells of mold. The views from the balcony are of other rooms roofs. The buffet is always the same, dry, undercooked and no variety. They close everything down at the pool area at 10 pm- lights and all. No drinks or ice unless you hike up an inclined hill in 108 degree weather. The hotdogs for the kids were so old and dry that they looked like sun dried veiny wiener raisin. The shuttle from the airport never came to pick me up- had to pay a random taxi cash plus tip- because he asked for it- to make it there- plus the hotel had to provide the ride back to the airport back- so paying for the round trip, why did I? The false advertising of the food, views, rooms, all of it- very deceiving. Making my first time out of the country the worst experience. Told to download the whatsapp to communicate- yet you can’t use it without wifi- which was nonexistent. No phones in any rooms. No room service as advertised because how would I call for it? Rice in the morning, rice in the evening, rice at supper time. What a joke and a disappointing vacation

Please don’t book this place we had a horrible experience. I paid for my son and wife to visit Costa Rica we never stayed at an all inclusive and this was the worse place ever. Pictures are 16 years old. Location is beautiful but the hotel, food , and staff was not something I paid for. This is false pretense I paid 5k for 4 people and I regret the trip. We had to eat out most of the time, they left out the food all day. Hot dog sat all day in a tray. Pool tiles coming apart, rooms outdated. I give this place a -0 Expedia needs to fake this place off site it’s selling under false pretense. A family from another country was upset when they seen what they paid for and I’m not sure if they were able to resolve it. We had to make the best of it. I will be getting a hold of Expedia someone needs to answer for this. We paid a lot of money for this vacation that was a horrible stay. I took pictures I hope I can upload

Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. 2 double beds and a separate room with a king bed, 1 bathroom. The 1 bathroom was a little tricky especially in the morning and at shower time, but we made it work. Our only complaint for the room is no hot water for showers, but maybe this is throughout the property. We liked the food as it was more authentic than a different property we stayed at right before going to Condovac. We would've liked the buffet eggs at breakfast to be more cooked. We loved the setting being higher in the mountains, a lot of animals, a short walk (or shuttle ride provided by the property) to the beautiful beach and a little store right by the beach for souvenirs or to restock toiletries/snacks. The shuttle became a great option as we tired from walking up the steep road to the main part of the resort. The main part is where the pools are, the dining hall with plenty of seating, a bath house & workout building with weights and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the lizards and iguanas walking around the pool deck! Listening to and seeing howler monkeys! We wish there were more pool chairs/loungers. Too few of loungers for even half the guests to use. They were taken quickly and people were not shy about leaving a towel on it while they weren't using it for hours at a time. The 4 pools were very clean. Beautiful infinity pools! Wading area and shallow pool for younger kids. Staff was awesome 24/7!!!

The place is basically Costa Rica on a budget . The amenities are ok . The rooms are down a hill that you have to wait for a car to come get you or you walk which is very inconvenient especially if you are with children because having to go up and down to go eat etc . The food is not great and very limited it’s basically 2 proteins some rice and salad . Not really buffet at all . More like school cafeteria style . If your looking to just stay at the hotel I wouldn’t recommend but if you need somewhere cheap to stay and your gonna eat out etc then it’s a good spot to stay. Only thing I really had a problem with was the food , the food was horrible I booked a romantic stay so I got to eat at both of the restaurants the private restaurant was soo nasty I’m not a picky eater most days I eat frozen foods I wouldn’t even feed that food to my dog honestly surprised I didn’t get sick , the buffet some days had good food some days had bad food , considering the money I spent for all inclusive I would’ve saved my money just ate off resort

The pictures are very deceiving. Property ruin down. Food horrible. The staff was nice especially bar tender Gene. Four pools there might be 10 chase lounge that was broken. Pool towels had holes in them. You have to walk up one hell of a hill to go to the pool and buffet. Tub wouldn’t drain, let’s not forget about the ants in the room.They do have a shuttle if available. Pizza bar not open. No phones in rooms if there is a problem. Plus they never answered the phone if I called from my cell. Walk ways are dark. We got food poisoning that landed me in the ER when we finally made it home after canceling 3 flights from being so sick. I would avoid this place because it’s made me never want to go back to CR

La habitación le falta pintura y eso que es una habitación por la cual se paga más .Dicen que tiene un mini bar y es un cerveza grande y dos botellas de agua. Aparte llegamos el jueves y hasta el sábado nos llevaron otros paños, cuando se está en un hotel de playa se entiende que las personas se bañan más seguido. Escribí dos veces al WhatsApp del hotel para solicitar lo mismo . Otro punto importante fue el desayuno donde el Pinto se sentía seco , la urna de las frutas sucias . El personal amable eso sí pero me parece muy raro que no tenga sustituto de azúcar mi marido es diabético y no tenían . En teoría desde la habitación se veía el mar , imposible porque los árboles no tenían mantenimiento y las hojas no dejan ver el mar. La cena que es aparte muy buena pero me parece que una sola persona que sea la que haga todo es incómodo. En general se pasó bien pero siento que hay detalles que no invitan a volver .

The only thing nice about this place was the courtesy of the staff and the amazing view. Had room where caulk was put over mold and had cracked walls. AC didn’t work and asked twice to fix. Raccoons took housing above our room so they moved us to another room that had no hot water. You only get two towels in your room and mini bar is 2 waters and 1 beer. Pool towel exchange was missing towels for large parts of the day during our stay. Buffet is four items for example rice, fried banana, sliced potatoes and pork. Breakfast was recent and basic as well. On the days the restaurant is open that is your best choice, you need to make your reservation between 2-4 and order your meal then. Bar open from 10am-10pm with ok drinks. Shuttle to get around hotel is constant. You get free shuttle from airport but pay $35 USD per person to return.

RACOONS! If you like racoons, this is the resort for you. They were living in the ceiling of our room (2400’s). The pool was the highlight, when it wasnt closed because the bacteria levels were too high. The beach was great and the views were absolutely amazing. Off site excursions were great. The restaurant next door was also very good. Some of the kitchen staff was unhelpful and rude, but the front desk was generally helpful but would not provide information about dining or events. By the way, all inclusive means free drinks and a buffet for all meals open during specific windows. There was a small on site restaurant opened every other day that was good if you could reserve one of the few available tables. The scenery does include closed childrens carnival rides, closed restaurants, and often times only one bar was open. Overall, Costa Rica was amazing and we will definitely return! Just not to this resort…

I was disappointed because much of what they advertised (and why we paid $ to stay at this particular property) flat out didn’t exist. There is no beach volleyball, no basketball courts, no arcade, there is no pizzeria, there is not more than 1 restaurant-actually there is a buffet that has very little variety and the same thing day after day and there is another restaurant that (despite being specifically listed on our reservation) they refused to let us eat there. Our room was in very poor condition (but in all fairness-we went into another person’s room and it was much better). There is no hot tub (there is an area that we think is supposed to be but probably broken). We were able to stay positive and we made the most of our stay but we do feel lied to and a bit cheated - very disappointed in the property. Positive—-The view was great!! We liked Costa Rica. We may go back but not likely to this location. I would not recommend this property.

Pool closed everyday for fouling all the time. Hot tub is a polar plunge. Lots of Canadians looking for somewhere else to stay. In a land that has fruit vegetables and chocolate there are none available here. Maid opened safe and she has purse and passport for us to check out cause she wanted to clean the room early . Buffet is not a buffet ad should read hot meal available and drinks all included Buffet is a two star Cuba buffet. Actually maybe be a one star Cuba resort. Everything is broken carousel merry go round. Fruit stand closed. Old hotdog fries and stale buns to eat Room is on a huge hill up and down to get to pool or you can wait for full trolley that won’t stop. GO TO Secrets or Rui or Occidental don’t waste you money or time here

We had such a great trip. Confovac offered such an amazing view and great restaurants within walking distance on the beach. The zip lining full day trip was awesome!

The resort is not what it used or appears to be in photos. My wife, daughter and I stayed for 5 nights in March 2026 and purchased the "all inclusive" package. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but there was no wi-fi in the rooms. The buffet was repetitive serving the bare minimums and on one night left over ribs only the second time around they were covered in fresh bbq sauce. The transportation offered to move folks from the rooms, beach, pool and restaurants took between 15-20 minutes as there was only one vehicle shuttling folks up the mountain. The area is beautiful, the beach wonderful but the restaurant area was in terrible shape. The Ferris wheel, bumper cars and carrousel were not operating. Find another place for your money.

Pool was full of trash and everything was broken. The "all inclusive" food and drink was 4-5 buffet items and 2L bottles of soda / beer (draft equipment was broken). I've never seen a resort serve beer out of 40oz bottles. Jacuzzi was cold, room was dirty, outdated and in disrepair. Dead tropical plants everywhere. This place is not taken care of... They charge the same as every place around but clearly don't invest anything in keeping the property clean / staffed / in usable condition. The view and the beach are nice, coincidentally the only things not really under their control. We left our two night stay after one night and stayed elsewhere down the beach. Hotel is refused a refund for the second night even though the place isn't busy. Avoid.
