A treasure in the mountains
We were four adults (two sisters and their husbands). We were enchanted and charmed by this home. The owner, Peter, was incredibly helpful and attentive in every way, and even treated us to a real Cretan dinner the last night of our stay. We laughed so much that evening! We went horseback riding at Deres stables outside Chania, we visited Knossos and Heraklion, we spent a day at the Botanical Gardens, and a day at the Old Venetian port in Chania. The rooms were quaint and charming and very roomy. We enjoyed listening to music in the evenings by the fireplace and we even cooked a few dinners on the outdoor grill. It was in every way an enchanted visit and I would urge anyone who visits Crete to stay here!! Tess Pope

Très belle maison au calme, retirée de tout
La maison est très agréable, fraîche et bien équipée (il ne manque peut-être que le lave-vaisselle). Le cadre est splendide, dans un hameau (un seul voisin très sympa) très serein. On n’entend que les cigales et le bêlement des brebis devant des oliviers bicentenaires et c’est tant mieux car la maison est loin des sites intéressants ( beaucoup de voiture à prévoir pour visiter). Pour les enfants, il y a des chats, des poules et des oies qui viennent visiter le jardin. Verger et potager à disposition. Il faut une demie heure pour aller faire les courses mais l’accueil par Petros est extra. Il a le contact facile et nous avait prévu vin, raki, huile qu’il fait lui-même,une pastèque et même de la glace pour les enfants. Les placards contiennent du riz, des pâtes, du gel douche, la lessive etc. si bien qu’on peut arriver sans faire les courses. Excellente semaine, très reposante dans un cadre idyllique de la campagne crétoise. Nous recommandons !

Perfect place...pure nature...heaven...
If you want to experience a real, traditional Cretan life, Petros's home is the perfect place for this. We spent 7 wonderful days there. The property is placed in the countryside, surrounded by olive tries, with wonderful views on the mountains. Perfect location if you want to visit the West part of the island. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy in the nature … far away from crowded touristic places. It was a really nice experience. We will come back. Thank you Petros!!!

Authentic Cretan experience
A stay in Sempronas at Petros place will reset your internal clock. Be disconnected from the hectic everyday world with all the modern comforts you can dream of. It is a true Cretan experience, nothing like the busy tourist hub that is Chania. Connect with the locals and enjoy a bygone way of living. Even better, it is a real hiker’s paradise. You enjoy nature literally on your doorstep. Or you can, as Petros put is so beautifully, “just relax and do nothing”. We will be back!
