„This was the perfect spot for us to stay with friends to go boating at Lake Livingston. Spacious and very clean bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with lots of appliances, and extra treats and snacks from the hosts. Plenty of room to pull the boat in. Very communicative and kind hosts. We will stay here again!“

„Charming B&B, we were met by Scott the manager as we effortlessly checked in. Room was very comfortable and clean. We will come back again!“

„Beautiful and historic house from pre civil war and the electricity, plumbing, etc. work great. Very comfortable and great feel of the history of the period with the furniture, curtains and all appointments. Very modern and clean kitchen and bathrooms. Really enjoyed the visit.“

„Beautiful and well kept historic home! The owner and chef were extremely courteous and welcoming...we couldn’t have felt more welcome! The room and common areas were clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and I only regret that we couldn’t finish the generous portions. Would definitely reccomend!“

„Great property and the breakfast was very good.“

„We went to Texas for the eclipse 2024 and had a wonderful time at the retreat. Jennifer was super nice and even provided us with two pairs of eclipse glasses, as well as with delicious snacks in the morning. We watched the eclipse together with her and other guests. We got lucky with the cloud coverage and had an amazing time. Our room was at the back of the retreat. It was super cozy and extra quiet. We would absolutely stay there again!“
