Compared to the pictures this property was a big disappointment. The pictures were staged beautifully to make it appear warm and cozy with colorful pillows and flowers and a gorgeous rooftop pool area. That is not what greeted us. The apartment is very dull. Very limited glasswear in the kitchen. Did not have even the basic essentials you normally find in a house rental. No soap in bathrooms or kitchen. No toilet paper, no garbage bags, no basic cooking supplies such as salt/pepper/sugar. They gym that is directly across the street, which sadly you look at from your living room is LOUD. Loud music from early in the morning. Everyday. The rooftop pool was the biggest disappointment. (it is a shared pool) The picture shows flower pots and large umbrellas. There were no flowers at all and the pots sat dirty with cigarette butts in them. Advertising an ocean view is weak. There is a large building right beside that blocks the main view but you can see the ocean off either side but very little. There was 1 umbrella that was completely busted and we were not able to use it. The photos show bright pillows and a white-washed look. There were no pillows and the ground area was stained and dirty looking. The property is located up a side street and there are a few restaurants and stores along the main road leading to the property, but certainly not the more desirable location of Nai Harn. You are a decent walking distance (20 minutes) to the busier area of Nai Harn that offers a far larger selection of restaurants. To reach Rawai you would need to take a taxi which was 200 baht each way or walk which would take about 1 hour. Overall our stay was average. We would not choose to rebook this property.
