Good value for money near Peterborough
The Days Inn Peterborough is located conveniently in a Services Area at junction 17 of the A1 (M)west of Peterborough. Parking and WiFi in all rooms (via BT-Broadband, easy connection through browser) are free. Right next to the hotel is the Services Area, where you can get a bite to eat 24/7. The hotel itself was clean, tidy and well maintained. The staff at the reception was very efficient during check-in and check-out and friendly and helpful during our stay. The pricing was very reasonable for a hotel in the vicinity of Peterborough and the beds were comfortable. The room was fitted with all necessary things to make us feel at home. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel again for my family and myself.

You get what you pay for - I only needed a room for 8 hours. It was cleanish, the bed wasn't uncomfortable. Most importantly it was quiet and I got a good nights sleep.

The rooms are a really good size, plenty of space and very big comfortable bed. I had a family room which had a big double bed & a singje pull out bed that could become a double, what would have been more useful would’ve been a sofa bed. For a large room that accommodates 4 people the bathroom was very small with the toilet and shower inside and the wash hand basin outside in the main bedroom. Having all 3 in one bathroom is preferable, I want to be able to do all my bathroom routines in the privacy of the bathroom and not have to do some in the main bedroom area. The room was very clean but when I arrived the heating was full on, the room was very warm, too warm, the first thing I did was turn the heating off, later i discovered why the heating was on full, the window in the room was broken and I couldn’t close it fully. It had been very cold weather but had turned milder so on this occasion it wasn’t a problem but if it had been cold still I would have asked to move rooms. It was disappointing to find in a room & hotel that overall exceeded my expectations. I would stay again but not in a room with a broken window I couldn’t shut. Luckily it wasn’t on the ground floor and was Mild. On the plus side, free parking, good services and just off the A1M for convenience but no traffic noise once inside the hotel. Good value for money.

Easy access from major roads. Easy access to a variety of fast food outlets within a short walking distance plus a choice of restaurants within just a 2 or 3 miles.

Bargain but decent value
Decent budget hotel at the services on the A1. Not noisy at all despite the location. Comfy bed and warm room. Only down side was a lukewarm shower late on the first night. Other than that, better than the price

Definitely recommend. Couldn’t fault my stay. Friendly professional staff on both checkin and checkout. Won’t hesitate to stay here if passing. Perfect bed and shower.

It ticked all my boxes. I simply wanted a quiet a place to relax and this worked well for me. I didn't use any facilities outside of my room.

I’m sure the hotel was lovely, but I tried to cancel my booking due to changed transport en route. Hotels.com ignored my texts and phone calls and by 2pm had taken the fees from my account - so not happy, especially as you advertise that plans can be changed. I tried to contact you from England on 18th Sept. when we arrived at 10 .30am - two hours early.

For the price it was very good. Some issues. They're seemed to be a hotel wide shortage of toilet roll. We could also smell cigarette smoke in our room.
