„The Pere Marquette is a grand, historic hotel in the heart of downtown Peoria. While it is true that the downtown is not as lively as it was fifty years ago, there are places to walk to--some restaurants, the riverfront, the Civic Center, the Caterpillar Visitor Center, and the Riverfront Museum.
