Perfect jungle home
This was a beautiful house to start our vacation off at. The host was always available if we had any questions or concerns. Very roomy and very clean. We even saw a monkey in the tree and some frogs in the creek below the house. Started off every morning out back on the patio with the perfect view.

We loved the property. The river behind was a nice addition to the house. We enjoyed hopping around on the rocks and seeing wildlife. My daughter is a biology major so she loved hunting for frogs and lizards in the yard. The house was nice and clean. The only thing that I would want to improve is the hot water situation. It would only get a little warm.

It's not located in La Fortuna downtown area so expect to drive a bit to local sites. There's a grocery store a few homes down which was very convenient. The home was comfortable and met our needs. Would have loved warm water for the shower but it was hot out so the cool water was ok. A/C worked very well. Felt very safe and the hosts being nearby was reassuring. We had no issues come up during our stay. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed breakfast in the green setting. The small river behind the house was the highlight of the whole property. We spent our last morning in what felt like a private waterfall pool. Truly lovely!

We loved this property! It is so peaceful & serene w a friendly visiting cat. It was the perfect place to stay for all adventures in La Fortuna area. We loved that it was right outside of town so we weren’t in the hustle & bustle of everything but we were near everything that it was a short drive away. The backyard is so perfect & you can walk down to the creek behind. We are outside every am & I rocked myself into a couple naps in the hammock. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home in La Fortuna
Our two families stayed here while visiting the area, and found this to be the perfect place for us! The location was great---quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to a small supermarket. lovely outdoor space. Basic kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was very responsive and helpful if we had any questions. One tip: I would map it to Restaurante Abigail and use waze app when trying to find it. the house is just down the road from the restaurant, which is next to the Super el abuelo (sometimes hard to find on map app).

Fabulous outdoor space
Absolutely fabulous property - we so enjoyed the outdoor patio, charcoal bbq, calming sounds of the running river and the hammock. Check in was simple - we received a message that indicated we could check in early. Kitchen had everything we needed. We did wish the water would have been hotter for showers and dishes. We would highly recommend this home in a great location and a fabulous front yard and backyard living space.

This place was excellent place for our family of 4. There was a really comfortable outdoor space and a path that lead to the river. We enjoyed so much of our family time at the backyard playing board game and listening to the river/birds. Highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again in the future when we visit La Fortuna.

The property is amazing, 15 minutes to downtown La Fortuna. It was a bit further out to do some of the activities. Owner is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the backyard is amazing to relax at the end of the day.

The highlight of our stay was the landscaping and backyard that is bordered by a river. There was a sloth in a tree in the backyard on our second day there. Dinorah was friendly and easy to communicate with.

An enjoyable stay
We found Arboleda's House to be just as advertised - clean, attractive and well equipped. The house stayed confortably cool with the AC units in the bedrooms and fans in the living area. It was an easy 15 minute drive in to La Fortuna, and from there to many great adventures. Access was very easy and our host was very responsive. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful backyard seating area, listening to the stream and bird-watching as we ate our breakfast. We saw about a dozen different birds including toucans and hummingbirds.

Great stay
The house was wonderful, clean. The outside seating area was a joy for us Bird watchers and the sound of the rio burrito was great. The location was just far enough from La Fortuna to not be to busy. I will say that some of the trucks going buy in the am we’re noisy but over all a great Costa Rica stay.

Endroit très confortable
Maison très propre et confortable. La terrasse est très apprécié ainsi que la rivière. Très rafraichissant en fin de journée. Chambres confortables et climatisées. Cuisine correct et équipée. Propriétaire répondent rapidement si besoin, ils demeurent dans la maison à côté. Maison situé à environ 15 min de la Fortuna. Le seul désagrément de la maison est la route passante de gros camion qui utilisent les freins Jacob pour freiner autant la nuit que le jour.

Just what we wanted, better than expected
We were looking for an affordable home with some ambiance and nature. This place has it. The pictures of the outdoor area do not do it justice. It’s stunning. The grocery store and a restaurant are within a five minute walk from the house. Grocery store is convenient. The restaurant Abigail’s is probably the best restaurant in all of the La Fortuna area. It’s a great place.
