Once you have reached the cottage, you can move around the property by foot only.

You can take a walk along the lake waterfront (3.5 Km) and other trails on the 35 acre property assisted by the caretaker.

During summers you can do the River Bhogawati Parikrama, a wonderful 5 km walk (one way) to the Origin (Ugam) of the river at the Bhogeshwar Temple.

Directions
On the Pen Khopoli road at Wakrul, turn towards villages Nanegaon, Zhapdi, Varavne bypass, Shindlachi wadi, Kalakrai, Deolwadi and last village is Kawelewadi. At the primary school at Kawelewadi, the WBM road starts along the village leading through the Reserve Forest to AnandVan Lake Cottage. In case your vehicle has low ground clearance, you can park the car at the Kawelewadi Primary School and walk down last km through the beautiful forest road to the property
