„Some of the silverware had to be re-washed. One of the coffeemaksers had what looked like mildew at the bottom, so we used neither coffeemaker. On the pier were a couple of life jackets and the storage bins doors were wide open. Otherwise, things were excellent and we love to come back.“

It was a great place for a family gathering. We took advantage of kayaks, cornhole, and pool table. Everything was clean, grass mowed, and fire pit ready to go. „We had the whole family here. My wife and I, our three daughters and grandkids for a total of 9 of us. This place was perfect for us. Plenty of rooms for all, and the large kitchen gave us lots of room for all to gather at meal time without tripping over each other. We loved the large yard where the kids could run off their energy and the large deck was a real joy. When we had a question we got answers almost immediately. That was a real bonus. „We stayed here for our daughter's graduation from Virginia Tech. It's a beautiful lake front property with everything you could possibly need for a delightful family get away. Plenty of space to relax, listen the the birds and lake, and reconnect with friends and family. It is a 40 minute drive the the Va Tech campus, but was worth it for the space.“

„This was our 4th stay. We love the location - so close to many hiking trails and Va Tech. It is quiet and peaceful; it has beautiful views of the mountains, and it has a wonderful, fenced area for the dogs - and it even has a doggy door that our dogs learned to use. The house has everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. When we were not out exploring, we spent our time in the sunroom. We hope to visit again next year!“

"Nach den Bildern im Internet waren wir wahrscheinlich im falschen Hotel.... Die Bilder haben teilweise nicht der Wahrheit entsprochen. Unser Zimmer war in einem schlechten Zustand und sollte dringend renoviert werden. Insbesondere war das Frühstück eine Frechheit. Es hatte nicht einmal den Standard continental. Verglichen mit den Bildern im Internet grenzt dass schon fast an Betrug. Als Stammkunde bei hotels.com mit insgesamt Übernachtungen im dreistelligen Bereich, hat es das Hotel in die Top 3 meiner schlechtesten Hotels geschafft. "
