„We had a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely beautiful, and the location is so peaceful and surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the tent was very comfortable and unique. The staff/hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everything about this place made our stay special, and we would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommend!“

„This lodge is in a beautiful location with expansive views of the mountains around Julian, CA. The room was large with a pleasant bathroom with skylight. There is air conditioning in every guest room. The large living room has a TV (so do the rooms) as well as a billiard table. The kitchen was spacious and the hosts provided eggs, bread, milk, bananas, and ramen soup bowls for the guests. „Booked room online looked very nice. At arrival I was very surprised place was very very quiet signs were cell phones couldn’t be used. Booked a king size bed got a queen or full size partner and I couldn’t even move at night that’s how small bed was. Little disappointed room had ants got on top of my pizza I bought the night before. Breakfast area had ants as well. I personally wouldn’t stay there again place was to quiet and nothing like the website.“

However, it is right next to a major road way, and traffic starts running around 4 am during the week and that is all you can hear, it's so loud it sounds like it's in the room with you. Traffic starts later on the weekends So its great if you're an early riser. Also don't expect maid service if you stay for an extended stay. We had to go to the office to ask for extra towels (the room came with two bath, two hand towels, two wash clothes and one bath mat), ...

„I have stayed here before and loved it because it's close to my family, this is why i was very disappointed to find bugs (roaches) in the bathroom :( I left earlier than I wanted. I hope this gets resolved. Oh, and I couldn't get the TV to work :( The front desk clerk did come and turned it on but, the remote wouldn't work. “
