Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay at our hotel. We are sorry if your stay with us was not up to your expectations. If I recall, Mr Considine was the one who made the booking . I did his check-in myself and he was actually full of compliments. We are open to remarks, because there is always room for improvement, however let me clarify a few things : I am very surprised to hear that you did not find any hangers in your room, as all our rooms are equipped with hangers. Had we known that you did not find the closet, it would have been our pleasure to come help you find it. As for our air-conditioning, it actually did work, however our system works according to the outside temperature. During your stay the temperatures were still relatively cold, so the system gave more warm air accordingly rather than cold. That is why we provided you with an extra Dyson air-conditioning unit. I am also very surprised about your remark regarding our room keys and the fact that the receptionist handed you your room key "without knowing you". If we ask our guests to leave their keys at the front desk when they go out it is especially in order to verify who comes into the hotel. The receptionist who gave you your key knew your room number because she simply was with me the day before when you did your check-in and recognized you. That's all the charm of Parisian boutique hotels. But again, Mr Considine repeatedly told us, he was very happy with the hotel and with the staff whom he thanked numerous times including upon checkout as we had seamlessly organized your trip to Versailles for you. Of course, if the design and setting of the hotel did not meet your expectations, I would have gladly helped you to find somewhere else since our main concern will always be our guest satisfaction, Kind Regards, Bruno - Manager

Dear Benjamin, We would like to thank you for taking the time to give us your opinion.The double room you were booked is 16m2 which is a good size for a room in the medieval centre of Paris and it is on top of that, equipped with several cupboards and shelves to store your possessions.Regarding the lighting intensity, it is in fact part of the concept by designer Jacques Garcia and is one of the elements, among many others, that create the unique charm of our boutique hotel. However, there are dimmer switches to adjust the lighting and if it was needed, we have extra lights at hand that can be put in the room. The reviews left on the various platforms reflect the true opinions of our guests that have overwhelmingly appreciated the intimacy of the hotel, the decor, the service provided by our staff and as you also pointed out, the fantastic location of the Bourg Tibourg in the heart of the Marais.Sincerely, Maeva
