"We had a wonderful stay – thanks to the lovely and caring staff and the charm of the hotel itself. It looked absolutely beautiful, both in the evening and in the morning. "Excellent and clean room, but late check-in typical as in many reviews. Came in about 9pm , reception should be still open 1hr , but was closed. Check-in machine was typically broken...wasted time for calling to get access code etc "
"The property was located close to the autobahn. It was quiet .the room was comfortable. I needed a room for the night and it fulfilled that function.
An improvement in my opinion would have been an elevator. "

"Really nice property, well kept and clean throughout. Location is really peaceful, quite some way from any towns or villages. Good communications from hosts and easy to access on arrival. The log burner was a lovely touch too.
It's not clear on the listing that the property is upstairs - not a problem for us but would be for anyone with mobility issues. There's no wifi (making it great for a get away from it all stay!) and no microwave.
A guide to the location would have been useful, to show where the wood store/bike shed was (we found it OK though) and how the heating worked."
