Grosses Touristen Hotel der 70-er!?
Wir waren knapp eine Woche individuell im Hotel. Hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer reserviert. Bitte vergesst nicht w.m. ein Auto zu mieten! Die Zimmer sind grundsätzlich alle gleich eingerichtet. Nur die Grösse der Zimmer sind unterschiedlich. Die erste Enttäuschung also. Der Teppich im Zimmer hat gestunken. Überhaupt nicht hygienisch. Duschvorhang angerostete Hänger, auch das Bad Teile angerostet. Fast kein Wasser beim Duschen. Duschen und Zähne putzen geht nicht. Kalt - warm - kalt. Am Pool kann man nicht ausspannen. Animation, Musik (dumm dumm dumm..) den ganzen Tag. Wem's gefällt - nicht vielen Gästen. Die meisten waren tagsüber weg. Wohl an einem anderen Strand, wie wir. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Zumindest für zypriotische Verhältnisse. Der Manager hat unserer Meinung nach kein Respekt und wenig Ahnung von Dienstleistungsbetrieben. Parkt er zum Beispiel seiin Merciedes genau vor der Türe und ein 'Hello' wäre eins. Übrigens waren die Menschen im Norden viel freundlicher und menschlicher - natürlicher (Türkischer Teil). Das Frühstücksbuffet - entschuldigt - ist eine Katastrophe. Kaffee ist braunes Wasser. Dann alles auf englische Gäste ausgelegt. Würstchen, Kartoffeln, Spiegeleier und Speck - na, wem's schmeckt. Uns jedenfalls nicht. Ganz enttäuschend war, dass wir keine frischen Früchte ausser Orangen vorfanden. Nur Fruchtsalat aus der Büchse. Das Beste am Frühstücksbuffet waren die kleinen Croissant. Toll befanden wir deren Möglichkeit im Laden Getränke, Früchte, Essen und kleine Souvenirs zu kaufen. Auch toll befanden wir, dass es die Möglichkeit gab, seine Hemden, Socken und Unterwäsche selbst im UG zu reinigen, da die Lunchery pro Teil zwischen zwei bis fünf Euro verlangte. Die Waschmische und der Trockner kosten je drei Euro. Die Maschinen sind mindestens 30 Jahre alt aber laufen noch ;-) Für uns zwei, die wir viel reisen ist dieses Hotel ein absolutes 'no go'. Ein 70-er Jahr Hotel wie in der Ex-DDR zum Preis eines modernen Hotels.

Einmal reicht!
Wenn man nicht ein Zimmer direkt über der Bar hat, wo man gleich morgens mit lauter Musik und Animation vom Bereich des Swimmingpools beschallt wird, ist am Hotel an sich nichts auszusetzen. Komfort und Sauberkeit waren einwandfrei. Allerdings würde ich nicht mehr in diese Gegend fahren. Es gibt dort zwar die schönsten Strände der Insel, aber ansonsten nichts. Es ist sehr touristisch, Supermärkte und Restaurants sind teurer als anderswo, und ohne Mietwagen ist man aufgeschmissen. Jemandem, der vom Urlaub mehr erwartet als den ganzen Tag am Strand/Swimmingpool in der Sonne zu liegen, empfehle ich andere Orte der Insel aufzusuchen. Die Informationen, die man an der Rezeption des Hotels bekam, waren teils sehr widersprüchlich.

Top-Lage mit Durchschnittsqualitäten
Das Hotel ist nur geeignet für Leute, die keine Ruhe suchen. Wer abends früher schlafen möchte, wird damit Mühe haben bei der lauten Animation. Das Personal, auch das des Restaurants, hat sich sehr bemüht, dennoch war die Qualität des Essens wirklich nur durchschnittlich und erinnerte eher an das Essen einer Mensa. Die Lage des Hotels ist gerade für Schnorchler top, denn es gibt gute Gelegenheiten in der Nähe.

Overall an amazing place, we arrived too early for check in but we were allowed to have breakfast. We met a wonderful waiter called George who was by far the best team member there, exactly the person you want to meet after a flight, transfer and no sleep. I was annoyed when I was told I only had bed and breakfast, only for the receptionists to realise their mistake, I felt like they thought I was lying. I would of given this venue five out of five if it wasn’t for that incident.

We used to travel a lot and this is the first time we have this type of experience ! The staff there and a big applause to Charlotte who was very helpful before our arrival. Très bon hôtel ,mais de l’eau SVP
Très bon hôtel avec des restaurants et magasins a petite distance à pied. Les chambres sont confortables et modernes. Le personnel de l’accueil est agréable. Les piscines sont belles et propres et juste en face de la mer où on peut se baigner facilement. Un seul problème est le fait que pendant votre séjour vous avez une seule bouteille d’eau et que il faut toujours descendre au bar à la fontaine pour remplir la bouteille une fois celle ci terminé. On m’a répondu que c’était pour l’écologie et je leur ai dit qu’ils pourraient mettre des bouteilles en verre. Sinon très bon hôtel , je recommande.

Not the best, but good
Nice hotel with a beautiful pool. Would recommend everyone to have all inclusive when staying at this hotel, or else it will be very confusing for the staff.. breakfast was good. Did not try their restaurants (lunch and dinner). Overall good. It is a 30-40 minute walk along the coast to Protaras downtown and Fig Tree Bay.

Covid half term week away.
Very good value all inclusive. Nice hotel in good location with tasty food. Drinks are cheap and cheerful but as you would expect on an AI stay. Staff were all great,friendly and professional. Night time entertainment wasn’t good but only as expected in Covid times. All in all we had a great half term week away.

Et fint hotel beliggende lige ved stranden og i rolige omgivelser. Selve byen er ikke så stor, men har restuaranter, barer, apotek, og butikker. Man kan gå via en strandpromenade ind til den større by på ca. 25-30 min. Et tur forslag: Tag en bådtur med Shirley Valentine, som er en lille hyggelig båd med plads til ca. 25 personer. Koster kun 5 euro pr. mand Kaptajnen og hans 2 hjælpere sørger for en rigtig hyggelig sejltur med lidt historiefortælling, og en svømmetur. Det er en rigtig hyggelig og behagelig stemning om bord. Der er hhhv. en tur sydpå til Cape Greco og en tur op mod nord mod Famagusta. En tur tager ca. 1½ time. Man skal booke sin tur i forvejen ved personlig fremmøde. Båden ligger på strandpromenaden ca. 50 meter efter Frixos Water Sports.

Surprisingly good! Great location, two super beaches right on the doorstep. Usual canteen style food. Rooms a bit tired but clean. Kids loved it. Evening entertainment better than some 5 stars we’ve stayed in. Half the price of our usual resort in Portugal and probably slightly better.

The hotel was lovely. We went for a friends wedding and stayed for one week. The wedding was beautiful and the location was perfect. We could walk to other bars, shops and restaurants or just a short taking ride to other towns. The food was delicious and the staff where very friendly. The pool is a great design for young children, especially those learning to swim. The only downside would be the entertainment in the evening was a bit repetitive. They love a Michael Jackson tribute.

Fab welcome from the reception staff and easy check-in. The room and the comfort level was very good. The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate. My only caveat is that I feel you may need to either be a smoker, eat loudly and with your mouth open, have tattoos and speak Russian to fit in with some of the guests there.

Excellent
We stayed at Pernera beach during the 2nd week of the 2019 summer season. Overall we had an excellent stay. The hotel was relatively quiet at around 60% occupation. We had a spacious modern family room with bunk beds for our 2 children, sea view room overlooking the pool area initially & then beautiful views out to sea. Good was excellent, plenty of choice and food quality for each meal. Evenings had a different theme each night on top of an already generous offering of salads, sides, veg, etc... We were lucky to get good weather so lounging around the pool was the order of the day. Be warned in April the pool is freezing but that didn't stop our 2 children being in and out of it all day. No issues with sunbeds, plenty at all times of day (this maybe different at peak season when hotel is full). Drinks were generally good, the lager was fine as was the white wine. Cocktails were hit and miss as they generally use cordials for orange, lemon, lime flavours which made some quite sickly. Overall we had an excellent stat and wouldn't hesitate booking another stay at Pernera beach. Big shout out to Eddie and Mike who do an excellent job as the entertainment team.

Lovely friendly hotel. Could do with more recreation for children as I would like to bring my family and young grandchildren( swings and slide would be good) in Oct next year.

Property, where you feel like home. Food is excellent, diverse, and restaurants a la carte cook very delicious. Animation team works perfect. Program organized very well. Service always helpful and nice. Receptionists and waitresses work fine. One of the best holidays!

Расположение, уборка, персонал, не вызывают нареканий. Еда: выбор вроде большой, повара стараются (особенно на ужин), но все какое-то химическое, ненатуральное, фастфудное. И супы совершенно не умеют варить (за 10 дней ни одного правильного и съедобного). Напитки: Сплошная химия, все порошковое. Соки - разведённый порошок. В пиве и вине - никакого вкуса (вода подкрашенная, либо тоже порошок разведенный). Коктейли тоже все химические (сплошные ароматизаторы и красители). Даже ребенку попробовали взять элементарный коктейль "банана&милк", так и туда вместо обычного банана льют химическую эссенцию. В нашем номере на 4 этаже очень плохо работал WI-FI. Все остальное вполне устроило, было достойным

Excellent ... definately deserves more than 3*
Excellent hotel ... really don't understand why it is only 3* as I've stayed in much worse 5* ... caters for couples and families with small children ... all the staff are helpful, friendly and smile a lot. The food and beverage offering for an all inclusive hotel exceeded expectations ... they provide absolutely everything from breakfast/lunch/dinner buffets with huge variety of hot and cold dishes to snacks provided throughout the day, ice creams, etc (even fresh cold water is provided via filtered taps). The spa area is well equipped providing everything you need ... there are pools for adults only, kids and a main one. Good animation and the evening shows such as fire and magic are very good. Bedrooms are spacious and have everything in them ... bathrooms are newly fitted and clean ... as a recommendation I would suggest the hotel buy new pillows as they were a little flimsy and the wifi connection kept dropping so that needs looking at ... other than that we will definately be back next year!!!

Nice hotel near the beach with excellent food.
Overall very good. Very good food. Lots of variety. Friendly helpful staff who were good with kids and the cleaners we're nice and done a great job of cleaning the room everyday. A decent balconys and sized rooms that were clean with comfortable beds although the sofa beds need to be replaced as you might aswel sleep on the hard floor . As we traveled with a toddler it would have been good to have a child's water area with a walk in pool. Minor gripe though. The child's pool was fine but to deep for my baby to stand up in.

Well run resort with friendly staff and good food
We stayed at Pernera Beach Hotel for a week as part of a family wedding and had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others. This is a small resort (compared to the huge ones in Mexico for example) but very well run. Pretty much everything was better than you would expect for a hotel that has a three star rating (I never know how they come up with those stars). The food was good, lots of variety. We didn't try the restaurant that you need to have a reservation but others in our group did. The staff are all really nice. The only drawback is that there is a lot of construction going on in the area behind the hotel.

Great hotel. Great service and facilities.
Very well placed hotel on a private beach with fantastic views. The hotel staff were friendly and happy to please. Rooms were great and we had a free upgrade to a bigger room with fantastic sea and pool view. Children's evening entertainment was a bit "same" ish every evening and quite annoying as we didn't have kids but they did put on other entertainment after.

I was a little sceptical about our stay before going there,but i was definitely pleasant surprised by what we found.Very nice big and comfortable room,nice view from our sew view balcony,kind and helpful staff.The food was ok. Overall a very good hotel and we found out that this winter it will be renovated and probably upgraded to 4 stars which i am sure it deserves already!
