This appealing wood and stone property is peacefully located in the grounds of the Trenython Manor Hotel. Sleeping four guests, it offers an ideal base for a family or couples sharing to explore the delights of beautiful South Cornwall. The cottage is just 3 miles from charming Fowey, with its independent shops, pubs and fine seafood restaurants lining the picturesque, narrow streets. Visit the town museum on the bustling waterfront to learn more about this picturesque fishing port’s history and take a boat trip around the harbour or across St Austell Bay to the quaint village of Mevagissey. Hire a canoe or kayak to paddle up the River Fowey’s tranquil backwaters and feel the sand between your toes at Readymoney Cove, just 0.5 miles from the harbour. Other inviting beaches near your holiday home including Menabilly, Polkerris, a favourite for watersports, and Par are all within 4 miles. Step out on glorious walks along the South West Coast Path and visit the remarkable Eden Project (3 miles).
Thoughtfully furnished and comfortable, the one-level cottage is spacious and welcoming, with an elevated position offering lovely distant views of the sea across open countryside. From the hallway, enter the bright and airy open-plan living space, with two cosy sofas, from where you can relax and watch the Smart TV. Double doors open onto the front terrace. Enjoy the outlook from the dining area, with a pretty round table and chairs and get cooking in the streamlined grey corner kitchen, with all the culinary equipment you might need. Discover two inviting bedrooms: a double, reached from the living area, while to the right of the hallway is a twin with zip-and-link beds which can be made into a super-king-size. The bathroom, to the left of the hallway, has a bath, shower cubicle and WC.
Outside, guests can enjoy their morning coffee on the terrace, with outdoor dining furniture and an outlook to trees, green fields and the sea in the distance. The on-site leisure club, bar and restaurant are a short walk away and there are tranquil woodland walks to enjoy within the 24-acre grounds.
