„Very safe feeling neighborhood. No problem walking around at night. The hotel complex is also safe and comfortable. The staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially the manager Jesus. Pool was clean and refreshing. There are lot flowers and plants which blow a lot leaves and petal in the pool in the windy afternoons. It makes for a lot of laughs trying to keep them out. We have 270-deg seaviews at home, so enjoyed the shady palms and semi-jungle setting as a welcome change. Inside & outside space was enormous - for only 2 people. Word of warning - parts of the mapped "Carnero Trail" are impassable, particularly after heavy rain, so we were more reliant on water taxis around Carenero than we expected. OVERALL AN EXCELLENT 7 DAYS!“
