Marco ist ein sehr netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Ich war in einem barrierefreien Zimmer untergebracht. Jedoch wies das Zimmer einige Mängel auf. Für Behinderte viel zu klein. Die Badezimmertür konnte man nur einen kleinen Spalt öffnen, da der Nschtisch und das Bett direkt an der Tür steht. Duschen konnte man nur heiß oder kalt, eine ideale Einstellung der Temperatur ist schlichtweg nicht möglich gewesen. Nachts waren laute Geräusche zu hören ( Rauschen von Wasser, Brummen von Waschmaschine oder Klimaanlage - genau nicht zu ermitteln). Auf meinen mehrfachen Wunsch, dass Zimmer zu wechseln, ist der Gastgeber leider nicht eingegangen. Sehr schade !!!

Breakfast starts at 8:30 AM every day, which is very very inconvenient for most of the tourist. Most of the tours start at 8–9 a.m. every day. There is no time for breakfast.

We only had one night at the hotel but Marco, the owner, could not do enough to make us feel welcome. He is obviously very proud of his business and of Palermo itself and ensured that we had everything we needed. The property is on a pedestrianised street and is a perfect location for walking the streets and sights of Palermo. On leaving we had unknowingly left some of our property in the room but Marco quickly phoned to say that he had found it. Overall an excellent service.

Central bed & breakfast at a perfect price
Central bed and breakfast in Palermo, where location plays the first role, due to the size of the city and security concerns. Unfortunately, given that I was on my own, I got a very small room that had really limited natural light coming in from the window. Room was very clean. Lack of electricity sockets in the room requires that you unplug the bedside lamps in order to plug in a computer or your battery/phone chargers. Marco, who runs the BnB is particularly kind and available to provide you with all the information only a local can give you, in order to make your stay in Palermo unforgettable!

Couldn’t have picked a better place!!
Our room was very spacious, clean and practical. It was centrally located within walking distance to many attractions. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of fruits, yoghurts, croissants and amazing cappuccino! The owner, Mario was very sweet and obliging. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone on a budget. There is great value here.

Everything was perfect. Host is super friendly, I felt like at home. Location is great - super close to the bus stations to the airport, Trapani and Mondello beach. And also on the walking distance from the historical part of Palermo. Room is very clean, big enough, and bed is super comfortable. Usually I have a problems to sleep at the hotels, but here I slept like a baby. Breakfast was delicious. I can recommend this apartment to everyone. I'm super satisfied :)

great location
This bnb is in a great location to see the sights in Palermo. You can walk everywhere and lots of restaurants around. A 5 minute walk to the airport bus. It’s just past the end of the old town which can be a bit grotty. It’s quiet and on a pedestrian street. Nice staff, nice breakfast and very clean.

Such an excellent place to stay!
We really enjoyed staying at Bed and Breakfast Operà! Marco welcomed us warmly and gave us the best tips for Palermo (for example the recommended gelato place "Brioscia" was amazing!). Marco also served us very good breakfast and overall made the stay as pleasant as it was. The atmosphere at this place is warm, and the location is really at the center of everything - we were able to walk everywhere. Our room was clean, nothing to complain. We truly recommend staying here, thanks to Marco!

Marco the owner, did everything possible to make our stay perfect. His breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Marco provided us with the best places to eat from pizza, to gelato, to fine dining. The accommodations are very comfortable. The location is the best. Marco makes it special. This was our second time here and it won't be our last.

A great stay
This was one of my better hotel stays on a two month trip through Europe. I loved the location of this property - on a popular pedestrian lane that intersects with a main street that leads directly into the Centro Storico. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff attentive.

Area was amazing. Close to everything. The host Marco was fantastic! He points out great places to see and has some great restaurant recommendations. The only fault was that the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, but who knows what the beds in the other rooms were like. Bed aside, I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the service we received from the owner Marco. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we got there. His recommendations and suggestions were 100%. The location is perfect. We were close to everything. The best shopping, restaurants, and gelato are only minutes away. Our room was comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A little difficult to find at first but once we did, it was so wonderful! I traveled to Palermo with 3 friends and Marco made our stay so warm and comfortable! Breakfast everyday was lovely, and Marco showed us all the best spots to visit and eat in Palermo and he was right on the money. Theresa’s help was so appreciated as well. The location of this bed and breakfast was also very convenient for all of the site we went to see. Thank you so much Marco!
