„Very nice setting with view of the vineyard’s. We had a one bedroom suite and the room was very spacious and modern with a well furnished minibar and view over the garden.
We had diner at the restaurant which was delicious with open show kitchen. Little things could be improved, like the use of tablecloth.
And they set up the buffet for the breakfast in the morning while we still bad diner, that was a bit weird.

"Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Queen Victoria Market mit vielen Möglichkeiten einzukaufen und zu essen. In 3 Minuten ist die Tram zu erreichen, mit der man kostenlos in die weitere Innenstadt fahren kann. Unser Zimmer war schön groß mit einer voll ausgestatteten Küche, die wir aber nicht genutzt hatten. Verfügbar war außerdem ein Gym und Waschmaschine und Trockner. Das Hotel verfügt über kein Restaurant, aber eine Bar/Cafe und bietet kostenlos Wasser an. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! "

"Riesenbaustelle
Leider weist das OAKS St. Kilda Rd nicht auf den Zustand ihres Gebäudes hin sowie auf die Tatsache, dass hinter dem OAKS eine gewaltige Baumassnahme stattfindet.
!. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Wasserrohre jaulen und dröhnen die halbe Nacht durchdas Gebäude.Im 4. Stock, den wir bewohnen mussten, weil im vorgesehen 2. Stock vier grosse Trockenagggate einen Wasserschaden bearbeiteten ( Lärm und Staub ),war der Spektakel der Wasserrohre derart, dass man sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr verstand.
An der Zimmerdecke eine ca, 2Meter x drei Meter grosse Fläche, untapeziert, ungestrichen, grauer Beton. Darauf : Wasserschaden, der wohl trocknen sollte....
2.Tagsüber war das Zimmer unerträglich laut, da hinter dem Hotelein Hochhaus errichtet wird,. Ein Riesenkran , zwei Betonverteilkräne und etwa 50 bi 60 Bauarbeiter mit allem , was für Btonbau erforderlic vo 07:00 bis 17:00
beschäftigt. Am samstag nur bis 14:00, wie scön!
3. Zur Abrundung hingen während unseres 7 tägigen Aufenthaltes täglich drei bis vier Fassadenkletterer am Gebäude, die mit Hämmern die Aussenwand abklopften und mit Bohrmaschinen Löcher in die Wände bohrten. Auch das inkl. Samstag.
Reklamationen erfolglos. Ein Hotel in derartigem Zustand ist m. E. ungeeignet zur Vermietung, müsste aber seine potntiellen Gäste vor Anmietung warnen."

The meriton suites are in one of the newest and tallest buildings in the city - we had a lovely view from our suite - and the location is great as well in the middle of everything. A 10 min walk from the immigration center/museum, where all day-trips depart from. Lovely personnel too - we really enjoyed our stay. "
