„Everything was as advertised, beautiful home, plenty of sleeping arrangements. Location is perfect for an easy walk around downtown. Homeowners are very responsive and polite. Will definitely be coming back. Alpena is a surprisingly "big" small town with lots to offer for everyone.“

„We love staying at this house when we are in Hubbard Lake. The Host, Cheryl, is excellent. Communication is easy. The house is well appointed with privacy. Very well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. It’s also spacious and kept very clean. We look forward to staying here again.“

„We had a lovely week at Hubbard Lake in this house! Overall it was very clean and comfortable, and had great features that we really enjoyed. The only issues we encountered were that the digital check-in process didn't work and was pretty stressful to deal with after a long drive with little kids. Also, there were no curtains in the bedrooms, which was a bit of a problem for privacy and sleep, but I'm sure that the owners will be getting on that soon.“

„The cabin is so cozy, clean, and exactly what I needed! Host is great and communicative and made check-in and checkout a breeze! Everything went seamlessly and I can't wait to come back! The state park is a nice walk, or super short drive with cool rocks and really nice trails. I had a couple of friends come out and stay a couple of nights and they absolutely adored the cabin and location as well. I. Super grateful to the host for sharing this amazing little place!“

„Had a nice weekend staying in this cabin. It's very clean with plenty of room. The kitchen is bright and inviting and it was nice to sit at the table to enjoy morning coffee. The ceiling fans, variety of lighting options and abundance of outlets were a bonus. The owner is flexible and helpful if you have any questions. First time to Hubbard Lake - beautiful lake and friendly people.“

„Cute little place tucked back and secluded into the woods. We had a bike race in Alpena and needed a place to get some rest before and after. This was the perfect spot. The back porch was perfect to relax on while it rained the day after. Will definitely be back when needing a break from phone service and real life.“

„This little cabin is a dream. Everything you need for a great stay to recharge. Clean and thoughtful in every way from supplies to decor. We thank our host for the memories and look forward to my my next stay (I have already booked!). The location is perfect near 23 to explore the area or even venture to Mackinaw for the day.
